My family and I have gone to this store for years, and I have always had a good experience and honestly prices are decent. Today However I had the worst experience, I went in to purchase a few games for my daughter since I saw a few flyers on the door which stated they were having a buy 2 get 1 free sale. My brother, nephews, and I were excited so we went in. It was about 11:30am and it's now almost 1pm so you can tell how long we spend there trying to find the best deals. As I pull to the register to pay, the employees pulled down the signs and told me the deal was over since yesterday. I was a little disappointed to hear that since that was the main reason we went inside in the first place. While I was having this conversation with the guy at the register the guy on the back was being rude badmouthing me in front of my brother, and kids. He asked under his breath "don't you know how to read?" "why don't you just go buy somewhere else?". Now not only did I waste my time, I was also disrespected in the process infront of my family, and to make matters worse I came out empty handed with no games. I wish they'd had pulled down the flyers before opening the store, or had the decency to let us know the deal was over when we stepped inside. What upsets me the most is the fact that this company which I have supported for so long hires people who act this way. I would recommend for this company to be more careful with the people they hire because people like these make the rest of the good company...
Read moreI ordered a game online and went here to pick it up. That’s all I came here to do. I got in line behind a couple and I left almost 15 minutes later. They were a couple of very ignorant people about anything having to do with gaming. Instead of doing a little research prior to coming here to make a purchase they asked the very friendly GameStop employee some of the stupidest questions I have ever heard people ask about gaming. The GameStop employee had the patience of a saint. I do not. There was another employee at the front door handing out Black Friday fliers. When asked if he could get the game for me he informed me that he was just seasonal and couldn’t do anything with the cash register but I could have a flier! So there was really only 1 employee in the store while they were having an early Black Friday sale. Not ideal. The couple in front of me, very confusingly, wound up buying a PS5....
Read moreThis 1 star is for gamestop customer service and not the store itself..i had bought an avengers jewelry set and when i got it home one of the magnets broke in half. I contacted gamestop customer service the next day explaining what happened. They said theyd send me a new one after almost a week. I had contacted then again and anywhere when and where they were sending it. No response.. After almost 2 weeksi decided to just return it to the thrornton location took almost a half hour after the called 2 different help desk lines and another store. After alot of nothing they ended uo returning my money.i posted a review on the website about the product and they refused to publish it. So clearly they only put stuff online that will make em look better. Customer service is a joke. Dont bother now i know why these store are...
