Not a very good selection and from the first impressions, the manager wasn’t very friendly or welcoming and immediately judged my husband and I as we walked in. I felt like I didn’t want to eat at the buffet. I’ve never been to a Golden Corral before and wanted to see what they had but the atmosphere was not welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location. I think I will try the one in Aurora instead or find a different buffet. It seems like their prices are too high and for that price you might as well get a steak at a nice restaurant which will fill you up with quality food and not anything from here. The tall manager guy also was very rude as my husband and I wanted to check out the buffet and he told his employee,” Make sure they come back.” To which I replied,” Don’t worry we will.” We just wanted to see what options they have since we have never been to a Golden Corral before. I don’t know if he judged our appearance or not but that was an immediate turn off and ruined my husband’s and my day. From previous comments, I can see that this man’s character has given off this attitude to many so I am less offended. If this location brought some kindness and respect to customers as they walked in, I am sure people would have more kind comments to say. Maybe the manager should go over to guests and ask how their meal is going and introduce himself and see if their experience was a good one and anything he can change or get feedback from. I think this place would benefit from customer oriented advice. The atmosphere would change from one of negativity to positivity and that would transition to how the cooks feel about their job and then maybe the food would taste better because people actually care about their work atmosphere and enjoy it? 🤷🏻♀️ Look up “ Emotional Contingency”. If one person has a bad appeal to a franchise or a bad attitude, then the whole group of workers, or people, will spread that energy. All in all, please be more welcoming as guests walk...
Read moreI wish I would've gotten pictures, simply to show how busy they were. My description may not do them justice.
It was Sunday 05/15/22. The line was out the door when my daughters and I first arrived. We got in and paid for our meal fairly quickly. A lady behind me was upset about pricing. She was upset that it was before 4pm, and she had to pay dinner prices, even though the menu above the register clearly stated that on Sundays, dinner prices are from 11AM-close. So she demanded to speak to a manager to express, "how this is just so damn ridiculous!" I'm only mentioning this to help illustrate how professional the manager, Penny was with this customer. Penny was polite, professional, and courteous in her explanation, as this woman was very rude. Penny never broke her smile, and even promised the customer that she would get them seated as soon as possible. I could tell all the staff members there work very well together and work very hard. All the teammates there continued to show one another support, helping each other clean tables, dishes, so the next group of people could be seated. It was my first time there since the new renovations. The food was good, but watching the staff there made the experience with my daughters much more enjoyable. I expressed to my girls they needed to make sure they were very polite to the staff members there, and pointed out how hard everyone was working, and how rude some other people can be. I personally thanked every employee I crossed paths with. Telling them how much I appreciated them coming to work, and that they all deserved some grace. I would highly recommend this golden corral location, as they are pushed to high volumes of customers, and they remained to hold their composure and exemplified...
Read moreFirst I will start by saying we have visited this location several times and over time it has seriously deteriorated. Every time we go at different times AM, early afternoon, and dinner. Even brunch a once. Today we went and it was just disgusting! The bathroom was so stinky and toilet paper everywhere with urine on the floor. The food was actually disgusting and not appealing to even to look at, the line was dirty, the carpet is filthy, there were tables with piled up dishes everywhere, the floor was sticky and there was food and trash on the floor throughout the restaurant. Also the person on the grill told my husband he could only have one small piece of steak like the size of a dang store sample in a cup. The dessert line is gross and unkept, that on top of the just gross unappealing deserts. Secondary to that, nearly all the staff in kitchen and on the line barely speak English and I speak Spanish but what about your customers that are non Spanish speakers?? If you are serving the public are you ACTUALLY serving everyone? What is someone has a food allergies and is asking a question and your staff answer them with an "oh yes" because thats all they know how to say. I witnessed this and had to answer them. Other staff just ignore the customers and continue personal conversations about life or other workers. Our food was cold before we made it to our table because the AC is cranked up way too high. We ended up paying nearly 80.00 and didnt even finish our plates because it was so gross and dirty there. Called management and was refunded but honestly we will not return. Golden Corral. Please do better, we used to like it there but now not even on Veteran's Day when its free will we...
