QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Thornton

I ordered a large catering order for an event at work. I was so disappointed! My order was supposed to be delivered at 4:30 today. The event stayed at 5pm. At 4:30 I was told the driver was on the way. The restaurant location I'd say most 15 minutes from my job. At 5pm I called back only to be hung up on. When I called for the 3rd time, I was finally ableto talk to the shift manager Stephanie. Stephanie told me that no the driver did not leave until 5pm. Let me mention that this catering order was to feed 325 people. The driver finally showed up at 5:45pm. An hour and 15 minutes after my event was supposed to start! I asked the driver to tell me what time he left the store and here told me 5:30! This has been the most unprofessional experience ever! Not only was my event ruined and I was held responsible, I was lied to several times by the manager! I will not order from this location ever again! My bill for this food that I no longer need was...

I’ve dined in and had take out several times, but going IN PERSON to take the food out is never the same as online ordering. I HIGHLY suggest you go in person and NEVER order online due to the lack of portions they give you for online ordering. (Same as Chipotle honestly) It’s the same time every time I online order, my portions are smaller and I’m paying the SAME PRICE - If not MORE - as going in person and dining in.. This time was worse though, their famous tortilla soup is back right? I love it, but I’m gluten sensitive and I made that known in the online ordering.. So i ordered just a bowl and no tortilla bowl. They didn’t care. My bowl had the tortilla bowl and my partners bowl, who asked for the bowl, did not receive the bowl. I have never had a problem with a Qudoba but normally would rate it fair just because it's a typical chain restaurant. Today they exceeded my expectations. They were in the middle of their lunch rush and ran out of chicken. I could see the cook in the back doing his best to get it ready but it was going to be 5 minutes or so. I'm sorta weird about other meats besides chicken unless I cook them so I was willing to wait. Normally I would be nervous that the chicken would come out underdone because their was a line out the door and a lot of pressure on this guy. Instead he stood their and checked the temperature of each breast and took his time. The staff was apologetic and even comped my meal for me. Not only that but my lunch was delicious!
