Start off I have eaten sitting down the restaurant before it was very nice the food was good and the portions were perfect today I ordered for pickup for spring rolls and I see a very small container so I opened it up to look inside and here are these tiny little spring rolls literally the size of my finger and the height is so small I've added pictures to prove but when I saw it I told the guy hey these are super small I just ate here the other day and they were normal regular size and he jtells me they have a new Chef in the kitchen and this is the only way that he rolls them. I told him they're half the size that I got last time here and he told me if I order again this is the size I'm going to get and to know that now. (That really makes me want to come back to this restaurant and order again wouldn't you?) I now asked for a discount due to them being so small and this is supposed to be my lunch today and he huffed and gave me a dirty look and said what do you want me to give you? I said we'll they are 1/2 the size, and he said I will give you a 10% discount. they also have a sign at their check out that says if you pay cash you get an automatic 3% discount so I said oh I am paying cash and he said okay and didn't change the amount so I said do I get a discount for using cash? So he made a big sigh and gave me a 3% discount( so I thought) he goes to give me my change and now he's digging through someone's purse trying to find the change for me( they actually give you an incentive to pay cash but yet they have no change) so at this point I'm already over it and I said just keep it and I left. Then I get to work and looked at the receipt and he still charged me 3% card fee. Just very rude service which is a shame because I like this kind of food and I would have been a regular customer but that made me never want to go back there again.

The level of spiritual betrayal I've experienced from this unfortunate abomination of a restaurant cannot be fully described in words. Who in their right mind had the audacity to serve the atrocious Frankenstein-esque monstrosity of hủ tiếu noodles with phở broth and hoành thánh, and had the adamantium balls to call it wonton noodle soup?? Clearly it was my own fault for expecting the bare minimum from this Jamie Oliver fusion food style establishment just because I thought the presence of Vietnamese staff would've made this 18th level of food hell just a smidge bit authentic. Yet the sacrilegious food crime left my fiance retching over a porcelain bowl with no way to recover from this culinary malpractice. I can only imagine our ancestors collectively rolling in their graves at this bastardized Trader Joe's level of cultural dilution. I mean, that was some white lady on TikTok level of calling nước mắm "fish gravy" nonsense. Our parents didn't come to the US for Saigon Bowl to commit first degree gastronomic assault on their customers. No amount of financial compensation, emotional reparation, or personal apologies from the kitchen staff will ever help me recover from this hấp diêm ẫm thục of a dishpleasurable experience. I will be booking a therapy appointment to unpack this horrific taste bud terrorism with a trauma therapist next week. Please pray for me that EMDR will work for victims of recipe homicides. No seriously, whatever the hell that bowl of ?????? was atrocious. Who tf greenlit that and thought, "Yeah! This is delicious!"

We got the roll-your-own-spring-rolls, salt and pepper squid, and the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The egg rolls that came with the RYOSR was crispy but not too flavorful, the shrimp paste was crispy too but flavorless and soggy on one side, but the veggies were fresh. The salt and pepper squid was superb and likely the best thing we got, being cooked and seasoned perfectly that made it addictive. The Taiwanese beef soup contained some tough beef and the soup was salty and slightly cold. The menu does have a wide variety of foods for everyone. The service was strange, they didn’t clear dirty/used dishes nor clean up the straw wrappers, napkins, etc. The restaurant is decorated with lots of plants and fish tanks, giving it a nice natural feel. Overall, it met the satisfaction for some Vietnamese food, but we’d only really come for when Saigon Basil is closed.

I went there for the first time with high hopes, but I was sadly disappointed. First, when I arrived I was told by the two guys at the from that were playing games on their phones and VERY distracted, that they would only do take out, no dine in. I said it was fine and ordered anyways and again, plenty of distraction from their phones that it took me a while to pay because he wouldn’t set up the card payment for me. I waited for like 15 minutes for my food and while I waited, another couple came in and they were seated....I was kinda upset and confused but decided to ask nicely about it, since maybe it was me that misunderstood when they said I couldn’t dine in. One of them was having a hard time explaining why they didn’t let me but not the couple, and the other one finally said something along the lines of “they’re friends of our boss so that’s why we’re letting them.” That sucks, since I’m a customer too, but alright. I let it go and took my food. It turned out it was kinda just thrown together and it ended up being less than what I expected as well:( I don’t know if other food is good there but I didn’t like their wonton soup. I had to buy food somewhere else before heading back to work. So big disappointment of my day was being treated like that with kind of a poor excuse and then not enjoying my meal. I wasted money and time unfortunately and I’m not really motivated to ever return. I’ve worked in customer service plenty and I am expected to drop my phone or anything else I’m doing to give the customer full attention and care, so I was not impressed with the service I was provided. Again, I don’t know if the rest of the food is good or if other servers would be better, but my experience today was very disheartening and I would not feel like recommending this place...

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last Sunday. It was between 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM. There were a few tables that were occupied but it wasn’t packed. When we entered, one of the workers was assisting another customer. Suddenly, another worker came to the register and they were speaking Vietnamese to each other. We were finally seated but we were not serviced at all because we left after nearly 15 minutes of waiting for a server to come by and take our order. After about 5 minutes of sitting down, and no one waiting on us, I began timing the wait on my phone to see how long it would take for someone to come take our order. One of the workers did stop by, finally, but only to drop off water. He did not ask us if we were ready to order or let us know they would be with us shortly. He literally came by with 2 glasses of water, placed them on the table, and walked away. And this was after we’d been sitting there for nearly 5 minutes. I told my husband if no one came to take our order in 10 minutes, we would leave. Well, 10 minutes came and went, and we walked out without saying a word. We won’t be visiting this restaurant again. NOT only that, but my husband is Vietnamese, and he told my afterwards what the workers were saying earlier at the register. Apparently, they were arguing about the customer paying. And then the 2nd worker that had interfered called the other worker a “motherf*er”. That is unprofessional to be speaking that way in a public restaurant. Call me sensitive or whatever, but you wouldn’t be hearing that kind of talk in the open where the customers could hear you at other restaurants. Keep that kind of talk for the back where there aren’t any customers. You don’t know if your customers speak the...
