Read moremy friend and i both just moved to the area, so naturally today we wanted to go to check out a local salon. our first choice didn't work out so we came here as walk in clients. we were sat fast and honestly the service was not bad as far as they were fast and friendly obviously lots of patrons found this place to be the go too. unfortunately i dont think we will be. i think my color powder acrylics would have been stunning but i ended up feeling awkward. i usually shut down when there is not communication and just pulling twisting. i know it takes inefficient time to ask someone to move their hand a specific way. which is honestly very common everywhere. the second is the distraction. i think they should close for football Sunday.... its clearly a sport they love. dont get me wrong was fun to see the excitement. then there was one other distraction. which for other peoples privacy i wont mention in any further detail. was not a bad thing perse. just kinda awkward for me . anyway my nails got filed down to the quick. drilled a lot on natural nails. i never got my techs name either. she was nice despite being heavily distracted. i payed 15 extra for some roses and the only way i can describe them .... well not rosey or flowery more like amoebas..... lots of rushed miscommunication didnt really get her attention till one fingernail pushed a little too hard on my flesh between nail bed and were its attached. she was very sweet after that and was attentive fixed a lot of the filing but this lead to loads of over filing on the sides of my nails down to the quick. but they are thick on top. length is good but the natural nail wall cant be made smaller.... not so much coffin as they kinda swoop in at my nail bed aggressively. normally i would have gone right back but sometimes its just easier to walk away. my girlfriends set came out beautiful her only critique was wishing they would have put one more coat of color on since the one she chose was pretty sheer. i think they are normally a great salon and i just caught them on a down day. Posted pictures you be the judge for me these are not...
Read moreI will never go to this salon again. I’ve gone here plants of times throughout the years and all experiences have been pleasant. EXCEPT the last two times. The first time, my kids and I went in we got two pedicures, a manicure and a full set. My pedicure was done very poorly. My oldest daughter’s pedicure was not done correctly at all, they didn’t shave her feet and so all the services that come with a pedicure. My youngest daughter got a full set, and it was terrible. The lady didn’t know how to do the design she requested and instead of just saying that, she continued. When it was time to pay, it was $340! My daughter showed me her nails and I said absolutely not!! I showed the owner and he apologized, gave me $30 back and had another tech fix her nails. The tech literally had to remove all acrylic and start over again. Yes they looked way better, but it way after closing time and they wanted to go home, so I kinda just let it go and appreciated the fact that they stood and tried to make it right. I went again two weeks ago, and got a pedicure. Well the lady that did my pedicure did nothing right. Again, she wasn’t doing any services included with the package I chose. I literary had to tell her what to do and every step. She did not remove my calluses and the polish job was awful! There was polish all over my skin and once I got home and took a closer look, the free edge of my nails and cuticle was flooded with polish and the design was garbage. I keep trying to go back because I’ve lived this salon but these last two experiences was enough for me. Unfortunately I will not go back. Especially after all the $ that I spend for not only myself, but our entire household to get out nails done and it’s crap. I can do better work at home and the only reason I go to a salon is for the relaxing aspect of it but it’s just...
