One year before graduating from Portland State University(over eighteen years ago) with a B.S in Health Sciences, I started developing neck and upper back pain as a result of being underweight, carrying heavy books, cold and rainy weather, stress of mid-term and final exams, and dealing with a dysfunctional family at the same time. Anyway, by adding two not-at-fault car accidents, poor posture while walking, studying, and looking down at my cell phone in to the equation, I was struggling to heal myself from chronic upper back and neck pain ever since then. I had tried everything you can imagine, ranging from Chiropractic, aerobic exercises such as walking, jogging, basketball, and swimming, working out with light weights at the gym, Bikram Yoga, Yoga stretches at home, Acupuncture, cupping, graston method, traction tools, laser, massage from different people, Organic nutrition and supplements such as magnesium, potassium(from bananas), vitamins K2 and D3, heat therapy in terms of infrared heat and direct heat by pouring boiling water in a bag. However, all of them only gave me temporary relief. After all the experiences that I went through, all I can say is the fact that it was a MIRACLE for me to discover this hidden gem by pure random chance and coincidence. Most people in society will have some sort of neck and back pain at some point in their life due to sedentary lifestyles sitting behind a desk, driving, and looking down at their cell phones all the time. If you're someone out there going through pain and suffering as a result of a musculo-skeletal disorder, and have tried everything I mentioned above without getting the results that you were looking for, I highly recommend trying out the professional massage therapists here for x number of sessions based on your condition. You can search for solutions through artificial intelligence; however, when it comes to massage, they truly are, hands down, natural healers! Obviously, and I am sure a lot of you reading this would agree with me; however, I am completely confident, and I honestly believe with all my heart, without the slightest shadow of a doubt, that this option is a much better option than taking medications for these specific conditions...meds such as muscle...
Read moreI feel bad for leaving this negative review, but I hope my feedback can help this business improve. I receive massages frequently and was in particular need that day, which is why I chose this location due to their availability.
When I called, I was quoted $70 for a neck and shoulder massage. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay $80 upfront for a deep tissue massage. I also mentioned that I was pregnant and again clarified that I only wanted my neck and shoulders worked on.
Unfortunately, it seemed that this information was not communicated to the masseuse. I had to remind her multiple times not to massage below my shoulders, but she continued to do so. Although she responded “okay” each time, it appeared there was a language barrier. Also, the technique itself was not effective. The pressure was applied directly on to my bones rather than the muscles and tension points. For the last 20 minutes, the focus shifted to very light touches on my legs, which became annoying.
Overall, the session did not address any of my knots or provide relief, and I left more frustrated than relaxed. While I still left a tip, I felt that the service did not reflect the value paid. I hope this feedback helps the business improve communication, technique, and overall client experience. I...
Read moreI was skeptical about trying this place. I wasn't sure if it was legit. I've been suffering with chronic neck and shoulder pain from a car accident 35 years ago. I have been getting massages here for almost a year. They all know me by name. They know exactly what I need for relief.
Every massuese is great! Lily, Cassie, Selena are all very strong and work hard to earn a living. You may want to speak up and invite them to be more gentle. Tip generously! They will take great care of you.
When I started going here, they were 15 minutes from where I lived. Then I moved 35 minutes away, but kept coming. They recently moved farther away from me. From Tigard to Aloha. With no traffic, they are 45 minutes from my house. There are many, many Asian massage places around. I've tried a few of them. The others are gross and have funny business going on.
These ladies are amazing! If you are looking for a great massage, look no further. Treat them with respect, tip gereously and tell them Mike from...
