My sister and I hiked here yesterday. It was very hard to find (directions to follow). The trail itself was nice. However, it is located right behind a waterpark, and all we heard on a good portion of the trail was music from the waterpark instead of the birds and stream we were hoping to hear, which was super disappointing. We did not make it to the end, as there were obviously people smoking at the end of the trail, as it smelled like a Rastafari concert, and no, it was not a skunk. I realize the smoking was not the trail's fault, and I would have given it 4 stars were it not for the constant music.
DIRECTIONS: After you pass the zipline/rope course on the left, take the next left where the sign says "Deliveries." Go past the hilocopter pad around the building until you see staff cars and dark red storage containers. Park there. Walk toward the waterpark, which you can't miss due to the music. You will see the sign to the trail mid-way between where you parked and the waterpark. The sign has a forward arrow on one side and a right arrow on the other, which is confusing. However, at that sign is where the trail starts down the hill to the right of the retention pond. Hope that helps!
UPDATE I recently went back and was asked to not park in the employee lot. You will have to park in the lot by the hilocopter pad, which makes for a hike to the trail, but hiking is what I was there for, so it was OK. I left the directions about the employee lot above so people still know...
Read moreSo here’s a detailed review of the falls they are not the biggest fall I’ve ever seen but it was nice. We tried to park down by the red containers but some guy in a kalahari truck chased us out saying it employee parking only which would be fine if they had any signs up saying so but we obliged and parked up top in the giraffe section by the convention center. We walked down the hill past the gate and as soon as you see the Sign for the trail you hafta walk down a steep grass hill. We stayed to the right and followed a matted walking path and tried to figure out where to go with a couple of turns we kept following the blue markers up and down and when you get to about number 8-9 I believe u stay to the right and it’s there so beginning to falls I’d say 15-20 walk and where good sneakers.. Now if u want the quicker version we found out walking out of there we made a right over the “bridge” walked up the hill and wrapped around to the left went up idk 75 feet and saw a matted trail up a hill towards “wheat” field and saw there’s another matted trail thru the wheat field and up the hill that will lead you out to the grass where the YELLOW KOHLER generator. So if u walk down the hill from the parking lot and want the shortcut make a left by the light pole by the generator thru the field and make left following the walking paths which is just matted down and enter thru the woods make a left then a sharp right on the trail and the falls are...
Read more⚠️I did not walk the trail long enough to see the waterfall⚠️ My partner and I brought our dog so unfortunately we could not adventure any further than we did. We parked in the lot next the the Convention Center, not the employee lot. We then walked down passed the employee parking lot to what appeared to be a self made path. There was a big snake coiled in some high grass on this path which scared the hell out of us. There were lots of huge puddles from all the rainstorms. What made us turn around was a gap with a black tunnel/pipe that we couldn’t get across with our German Shepherd. It was more of a challenge than we expected. We’ll come back without our fur...
