We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. The hotel room with two queen beds was spacious enough but didn't make up for the fact that my 18mth old ended up with horrible rashes all over his face from sleeping on the sofa bed. The first night we had dinner at Brandberg's which was probably some of the most bland food we ever had. I ordered the chicken paillard which is literally a tasteless hard piece of breaded chicken with some lettuce mixed with mayo on top. Figured maybe a quick dessert at The Last Bite would be better, but even that was disappointing. Everything is either overly sweet or not quite there. The silver lining of the trip was the water park. We rented a cabana and that was nice. Overall the waterpark was very clean, lots of areas for kids of all ages to enjoy themselves. We decided to leave Saturday night instead of Sunday and ordered food from The Final Cut which was actually very good! Overall the price wasn't worth it and we probably wouldn't go back and stay in the hotel.

Kalahari was nice, but very expensive. The lines in the water park were too long, their drinks and food was way too expensive and I went with my infant whom couldn’t get in the water. It’s smells like they use too much chlorine until the smell of it burns your eyes. I also feel like the room was so shabby looking with uncomfortable beds. I appreciate the fact that their are a few different pools and locations for smaller kids.

Not sure what happened but this place got insanely expensive. At this price point go to a real resort that all inclusive. 12 hotdogs 15$ burgers 33$ for pizza pie. 28$ for alcohol drink 21 refill. These prices simply make me look elsewhere. My trip was 1100 for 3 nights for 2 adults 2 kids and that doesn’t include any food or drinks. Look at all the add ons brings pricing up fast.

The 2 stars is most definitely NOT for the water park...that gets 5 stars!! The hotel was terrible. I booked a king suite, it certainly was far from what I expected which was what was shown on the website and the printout they have at the front desk. The rooms smelled terrible, like old wet clothes. I understand it's a water park, wet clothes all around but at least have some sort of air filter or something that helps. The sink was clogged and dirty, the bathrooms didn't have shampoo, there was no coffee maker, I asked the guy who checked us in, he said text a number he pointed to and ask them for anything needed. They no longer have coffee makers in the rooms - he could have said that from the start. I texted about the shampoo, "Housekeeping has been notified" still never received the shampoo. When I called about the sink I again asked for shampoo, the woman said I need to go to the front desk and ask for it. Simple thing like shampoo I had to fight for....wasn't worth my time anymore. For the amount of money paid for the room, minus the cost of the park of course, it wasn't worth it. I would probably have had better and cleaner service at another hotel. Water park 5 stars, hotel 2 stars only because they changed the towels and was convenient to walk to the park...
