I called in a couple weeks ago wanting to find out about delivery. I was going to order a mattress and box spring online. Simple right? The sales guy went on to give me a lecture over the phone about how I should come into the store to support local businesses. I understood the point he was trying to make, however it was his delivery and tone I didn't quit care for. I can tell he was judging me. He went on to ask about the type of mattress I wanted and I told him anything would do. He went on to say "so you don't know what you want huh?" 😑 He suggested I come in and feel the mattress I was going to buy or to let him help me. While I do believe his heart was in the right place, I feel he came off a little strong. You see, I don't have a car. And the nearest Denver location was all the way across town from me. I didn't want to spend left/uber fair on top of paying for a new bed. Not to mention I am NOT a picky sleeper by any means. I have slept on floors, cots, air mattresses, couches, pull out beds, massage tables (yes A MASSAGE TABLE!), so I am not a picky person when comes to beds. I just wanted a REAL bed I could call my own. And I wanted the convenience of having it sent to me without wasting a trip to see it. All I wanted was the delivery information. Needless to say, I went with another popular bedding company and Denver lost out on a potential customer. I now have my new bed and I LOVE it. I slept on it for a few nights and have to pull myself out of bed because of how comfortable it is. I ended up geting sick right before they delivered it to me but recovery felt better being in my new bed. Next time the sales workers of Denver should learn to simply help when asked. And don't add too much of their personal opinions into things no matter how they feel. You just never know why someone is choosing to do something a certain way. It is MY money so I can spend it whichever way I choose fit for me...

There is no replacement for trying out a mattress at a retail store - this saved us a LOT of headaches trying to sort out a workable mattress on-line. My wife and I drove from the Detroit metro area to this Furniture Way store, because they were the closest retailer that carried the Denver Mattress Company. Rob Maese let us work at our own pace as we tried out the Denver lineup. Rob was helpful in addressing our concerns about getting the most value out of a new mattress. After finding a Denver mattress that fit the bill, we commented how the Purple Bed was a very close second but that we did not want to back another foam bed and fight sag and compression issues like we’d had with Tempurpedic. Rob explained the differences thoroughly, that Purple is actually not foam in spite of how it gets put in that category in comparisons. He also indicated that Purple has been very good to work with for all of the years the store has worked with them, and he could not say that about many of the competing start-ups that have evolved in recent years. After another round of trials we decided to go with Purple, and Rob got us the the on-line sale markdown offered by the manufacturer. There was zero pressure involved at all and we HIGHLY recommend working with Rob and his team for your next Mattress purchase. Cannot say enough here about how satisfied we are with our purchase and how important it is to go and try out mattresses in-person at a store and with an open mind. Read moreI'll leave 4 star because things turned out well but as we all know it's nearly impossible to get furniture/mattresses same day but we needed one within a few days . So when I called and spoke to Robert on a Wednesday he told me he would send me the link and I could order a mattress and it would be delivered to my home on a Friday,. Awesome. After ordering the mattress I called the same-store back spoke to Robert again and asked what time it will be delivered on Friday but at that point he told me it was too late for delivery , the schedule was full but I could pick up the mattress myself on Friday. I was still happy because I was going to get a mattress within a couple of days so picking up was not an issue. When I arrived at the store on Friday Robert was not there and I was told only part of my order had arrived and I was at the wrong location. The store that I called and the order invoice were the same address , why would I think my items would be at a different location? It was not clear when the rest of my mattress set would arrive so I decided to cancel my order all together because I was frustrated at this point and I did not want to give them my business since things weren't made clear to me . Before leaving the store Barry offered to look one more time at the other location to see if he could find a mattress set. He was able to do this and made sure that it did not cost me any more than the previous set . I was able to go straight over to the other location and pick it up .
