We loved this place when it first opened and it has drastically gone downhill. I normally don’t do reviews like this, but need to inform the average person that this is what your tax dollars are funding. It was a hot day today and we decided to go here on a walk with our dog and to order a pizza. Went inside and ordered food, drinks. We tip the staff ALWAYS and they are super friendly and accommodating. We bring our hard earned money into this place; have came for numerous occasions with family for ice skating, etc. Try to sit down and have a nice time and it’s overrun by kids screaming, parents screaming at their kids, etc. We were trying to eat and there were several tables next to us open and a group of young kids decided to sit directly right of us to charge their phones and talk about how “they’re going to beat each other’s asses”, mind you these had to be 10-15 year old kids. Banging on the table. Parents of course nowhere to be found. The whole thing was exhausting. When they finally got up to leave we saw the Ranger and came up to us to tell us we couldn’t have our dog in there. Fair, I didn’t see it on the door until after we left. But our dog is super well behaved and was sitting there the whole time drinking water and eating chicken because it was so hot out. Maybe direct that attention to the kids yelling and attempting to beat each other up. Everything in Toledo gets ruined and people wonder why we don’t have nice things here. People ruin it. YOU’LL DO BETTER HERE, right? This place is a joke and we...
Read moreI can only give 4 stars at this time because the park is under construction. That being said what is already done is fantastic and I would give a 5 star review. There are already a decent amount of activities in place (disability friendly swing at the play scape, splash park, kayaks, picnic areas, shelter rentals with fire pits, rope bridge etc) that bring a nice family element to an area that already feels comfortable. Fur babies are welcome within restrictions. We have been watching this progress for quite some time now, it's exciting to see the new equipment arrive on pallets etc then quickly be constructed. It's worth checking out if you're into nature, construction projects and fun. Not too big at all but packed full of options for a wide variety of people. We plan to be in the area long enough to edit this review when there's more in place in order to give hopefully a better review!
As an afterthought, I'm not sure about restrooms because we have not had a need while being there. There are however designated handicapped van friendly parking spaces in the lot away from the street parking. Enjoy, I...
Read moreNew art installment super cool live this park. We enjoy coming here to walk the dog, scooter around, bbq, let the kids play, have a night night at the restaurants, the kids love the splash pads, and many playing stations. Only one bathroom, so I hope you're willing to drive to it just in case. We really do love what toledo gas done with the area. Talk about a face lift. We enjoy spending may evenings watching the sunset over...
