I started going to the hospital for everything. Long distance but so far all that's got me is heartache and pain. I go to the pain management doctor which is a freaking joke doesn't even they can't even keep anybody there. Every time you go to the doctor somebody new but I had a major back infection due to the doctor pain management trying to do something to get rid of the pain which didn't work but I got MRSA over it at kill ed My summer but now since they're running low on doctors doctor they have now is the one that put my back simulator wrong. Put all the leads in the left hand side when the pain is on the right hand side. 21. Leads not only did the representative for the company quit and move on to other possibilities. This one had to leave his practice in Oregon because of some kind of lawsuit and they want me to go back to him second of all and every time I do anything it takes 3 months to see a doctor. It takes one month to get in there for a procedure which doesn't work to be in with. Now I'm dealing with the urinary tract surgery. I had a fever that day so I tried making a schedule reschedule and then after that was done. I called pain management to make an appointment. They told me 3 months just to be seen in one month is going to be to get approval for this procedure for the fact that they know about already. But I am so sick of your UTMC God. Hope I don't end up there in in the emergency room. My infection was so bad my back literally blew up at a car show All over my white T-shirt was red and brown pus so they got me in right away for that to cover up their mistake. But anyways I'm I'm done. I'm in pain. I can't sits. Can't walk and the lady the nurse was literally chuckling when I was telling her how much pain. I'm in great hospital. That's just one department though. I can go...
Read moreWorse and rudest care from every person invovled. Yelling and my son when I went to move my car telling him to pick up a bucket we brought in he said he couldn't do it cuz the amount of pain he was in and asking him how old he was ( he is 20 yrs old btw) and telling him to get the bucket. He said he can't and feels like he's gonna pass out she told him that's alright if he passes out. When i got back in the er (from moving my car) she was damn near yelling at him to stand up and walk I jumped in said well he's in pain he needs help and suggested them getting a wheelchair for him, which neither nurse went to get. I had to get it and I had an attitude about it cuz the rudeness they were displaying. When it came to them asking questions about the pain he was feeling he could hardly talk and acted offended by him being in pain and not being able to talk unless he yelled it and final got rude back with them. He puked on the floor and in a bucket in the room we were in and when he was done i asked if they could clean it up and I was told she's just gonna leave it there incase he pukes again, so I cleaned it up cuz i think that's disgusting. He was finally able to drink something and all he wanted was some water she made him wait 15 mins and when she finally came in the room she didn't even give it to him. She had the water sitting there didn't even have the straw in it. Like damn he's been saying since we got there all he wants is some water that his mouth was so dry and when he can finally have some you make him wait for you to type out discharge papers and unhook him from cords and his i.v. no compassion, no empathy. Rude, unprofessional. I will never ever go there again closest hospital or not. I feel horrible knowing that my son had to deal with and receive that...

I had a pretty awful experience with the psychiatry department there. Saw a resident Psychiatrist named Dr. Pervez that seemed very amateurish and awkward. I talked to him for about an hour about depression related issues before seeing his boss named Dr. McCullumsmith I believe. I talked to her for 5-10 minutes then they left the room and came back telling me I was being pink slipped and placed under an involuntary hold. This basically means they were putting me into a mental institution against my will.
They moved me to the emergency room where I waited from 10:30am until about 6pm. Keep in mind i had already been there for over an hour. My appointment had been at 9:15am. All my plans for the day were ruined and I had to call off work. They told me they had to move me to a facility that could hold me. So after waiting the entire day in a bed I was transported to St. Charles where I had to stay the night.
I spoke with a nurse practitioner there in the morning and she discharged me. She agreed that they had severely over reacted to everything and that I had been wronged. She had read me some of the notes that had been taken and I was just confused. They had written that I had attempted suicide before which was entirely false. I do not know if there was en error in communication or they lied to get me pink slipped and out of their hands.
Do not go here for psychiatry or anything else. It's filled with amateur idiots that have no concept of time. You will wait for hours upon hours for anything to get done. If you have to drive a bit farther then please do so you'll end up saving much more...
