An employee named SETH at the Topeka OfficeMax has been a God send ever since the first time he assisted me in the print department. He has always been willing to venture out extra MILES to offer the best customer experience.
He first helped my husband and I with our wedding announcement inserts during a sensitive period. Another worker refused to help anymore customers as that worker said, āI need to clock outā and left. Seth did not even work in the print department, but offered to help!
This past week, my family was preparing for my grandfatherās Homegoing Services and āagainā time sensitive, I needed the programs printed ASAPā¦with no hesitation Seth offered to assist.
Seth has always exemplified above and beyond for me and my family AND heās still at Office Depot in Topeka after a year which we donāt see longevity of many staff members. Iāve observed Seth engage with other customers while awaiting the completion of my orders and I have seen nothing less than Iāve received from Seth. Customers are leaving with a smile and āhey, thanks man!ā
I do hope management looks at the review section, as Seth has made me want to continue and spread the word about the wonderful customer service received.

However after my last experience with the store manager, I will no longer purchase from here again. I purchased a new chair which I realized was damaged after getting home. Her only solution was for me to come into the store, pay for another one, wait for it to arrive. Then come back return this one and pick up the new one. All I asked for was free assembling ($15.00 value), since I had already assembled this one before realizing the leather was ripped. Which I don't believe was asking for too much. She told me no. I am not purchasing two, making two more trips into town, and building another chair. Spending time to assemble one would of been a great compromise, and provided good customer service. Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust want to give a huge shout out to the print team! They were short staffed and swamped when I had come in with an order that I needed done same day on February 24th. I paid a rush fee that will get done later in the day. The employees are kind and worked so hard fulfilling everyone's orders ahead of me and then behind me.
Another customer came up to the counter at the same time I was and had demanded his order be done that minute. The gentleman helping me was of the upmost professional attitude and gently but firmly told the customer he would need to wait.
