Sky Boba Cafe — Restaurant in Bellflower

Been here twice now. The first time it was slow so my drink came out very quickly and the owner shared his recommendations while happily making conversation. The second time around the store was full (likely due to a buy one get one promo they had) and the owner was working solo so had to wait a while. Nonetheless, you can tell they care about the drink quality so both times it was great. Can vouch for the original milk tea, taro milk tea (which tends to be hit or miss in general for boba shops), peach green tea, and mango milk tea. The original milk tea has pronounced tea flavor, and the fruit tea is very refreshing. Recommend getting half sweet for the drinks. Boba texture is good, though I like mine sweeter. Do not sleep on this place(or in it)! It's such an interesting concept of being able to make your own tea, I almost want to take it as a challenge to make the most weirdest combos possible. I haven't seen anything like it before, and trust me, I'm an unofficial bubble tea consessiuer who has tried teas from the motherland Taiwan, to neighboring Korea, Japan and our very own Cerritos and Alhambra. I stopped by Sky Boba and had their Lavender Milk Tea and Thai Tea with Boba. If you have been following my reviews then you know about my Boba obsession and quest to find the best boba places everywhere. They have an incredible selection of drinks so there is something for everyone. They also have coffee. Thai tea has been my favorite for a long while but after drinking the lavender at Sky, I believe I have a new fav. Parking here is abundant.
