I would give this place zero stars if I could! I purchased a 2012 Nissan Juke from them on September 10th. After being given the run around on when the car would actually be ready to go, and multiple trips from out of town just to purchase it. I was assured that since they were a big dealership that the car would need to pass certain criteria to even be sold. I payed cash and did not purchase a warranty, as they had just inspected the vehicle for anything major ( according to them ) as well as replacement of the brakes, tires and oil pan. Within a week of having the vehicle I had to take it back because somehow they failed to properly connect my airbags. ( yes they had me drive it back to them without them properly functioning). Then within two weeks the car lost all power while I was driving it and now it is giving off a code showing it has a bad transmission. I can assure you the transmission did not go out in two weeks. Not to mention that this entire time the new brakes have continuously made a loud squeak when I drive. As a business I would be ashamed to be so unethical. As well I would be concerned about vehicles that leave my lot not properly inspected. The manager Jesus Rosales, claims the vehicle was fully inspected and sold to me in perfect working condition. However, if that was true you would think they would have caught the airbag issue. If that could be missed, then obviously other problems can be missed as well. The brakes being done by their facility and still being a problem is a huge red flag… Buyer Beware!!!! I think they only care about the money because he won’t resolve any issues and only tells me how I should have purchased a warranty. For him it’s all about the money!!!! BTW I live over 100 miles from the dealership so the extra ware and tear I have to put on the vehicle just to take it back because of what they failed to properly due the first time causes extra strain on the transmission. Either way they should be liable to fix the problem, as the manager was fully aware that I am a single widowed mother and student that needed a vehicle that would get me around. Even small hole in the wall dealerships take better care of their customers. A few weeks into no resolution and the manager being...
Read moreI really used to like this Nissan with Torrance, because I believe that they did quality work, but now I am fully aware that they are negligent. They will notice that they’ve damage something on the car, but failed to mention it to me, but they still charge me an arm and a leg for their supposedly stellar service. I call to try to get this matter resolved in respectful manner. But then I get the runaround saying the manager Daniel is actually in office, but he is checking cars, so he cannot take my calls, so now this matter is not gonna be escalated to the bar, because I spend a fortune of my hard earned money and I specifically come to this dealership because I was made to believe that they care about the work that they do on the cars, but they actually don’t.!! The the latch on my hood does not work, nor the inside hood. Pop up latch does not work and when I had a flat tire on the road today and I had to take it to a autobody shop, the autobody shop that I took it to resolved the flat tire and attempted to do a courtesy fluid check, but they couldn’t because they told me that the latch to the front hood and the inside is broken, and that it is a serious hazard because the hood could just fly open!! I take really good care of my car, and this particular Nissan of Torrance has been the only dealership and only service place since I purchased this vehicle to have Ever Serviced This car other than today when I had a flat tire on the road PLUS two weeks prior. I just came to this Nissan to do a brake fluid flush and an oil change, but yet this Nissan of Torrance did not mention that they broke the latch BECAUSE AGAIN NISSAN OF TORRANCE IS THE ONLY PLACE THIS CAR HAS EVER BEEN SERVICED SINCE PURCHASE OF MY VEHICLE AND I GOT ALL THE PAPERWORK FROM 2 YEARS AGO UNTIL NOW TO PROVE IT!!! it makes me wonder How did Nissan get my hood open Two weeks ago, to do the brake fluid flush and the oil change????? my hood latch not working inside & out by hood not being to open was not an...
Read moreThis review is for service department on behalf of my husband who took our truck yesterday morning for a scheduled service that was supposed to be covered by warranty as a part of our new vehicle purchase . He was redeeming his second free service. I guess he should’ve seen the red flag starting from the lack of timelines considering it took an hour for the service department to even acknowledge any of the people in line , my husband was told to wait in the car .
During the hour wait two cars ahead of him leave .
Meanwhile… My husband remains , motivated by the free service he had confirmed when scheduling the appointment over the phone with a female representative whose name he didn’t think of obtaining .
My husband then observed the person who ended up helping him walk in after a little over an hour waiting in the car. Service advisor , Chris later introduces himself . My husband notes he was very unhelpful. Chris “informs” my husband he has gone over warranty mileage and would not be receiving feee service noting he would need to pay around $500 for service or $50 for just oil change. My husband explained his verification when scheduling with female Nissan representative, Chris doesn’t budge .
My husband asks for his car keys, Chris told him car was already on lift ,my husband declines service . My husband proceeds to garage to get his car. my husband notes service advisor and technicians seemed confused by him leaving … free to $500 is a big leap in service costs … even $50 considering he had verified free service when scheduling .
My husband proceeds to Carson Nissan . They’re awesome, no issues . They even washed the car , they also verified he had a free service … idk service advisor Chris your a little shady for that … I worked at a dealership way back when and I know you all work on commission , which explains the price hike . Won’t be returning to Torrance Nissan, which is a shame… sales...
