Me and a few of my friends visited this theatre to watch the latest inside out movie, at first the staff were very sweet especially the woman at the front desk, I regret not getting her name because she was truly wonderful at her job, the problem started when we went to put our tickets in and go to the movie which we were already slightly running late for, their ticket checker Rob began to speak to me and my friends in a sexual way, but we entertained the conversation not wanting to be rude. We then went to watch our movie, once it was finished coming out to use the bathroom the same ticket checker saw me and my friends and then told us he would speak to us after we finished using the bathroom which was a bit strange in itself. Once we finished he stopped us to have a lengthy conversation in which he told me âYou look too good to be JUST 14 turning 15.â Which INSTANTLY raised red flags in me and my friends, so we ended the conversation and walked away but he followed us, we took a few pictures at their Photo Booth and came out to see him approaching us once again! Except in this conversation he continued to pass advances at me and my friends then proceeded to ask us for our names, which we obviously avoided telling him. We left and informed a trusted adult of what had happened and then returned to put a report in with their manager who quite frankly did not care over the issue and dismissed it saying Rob had special needs as if that EXCUSED his obvious sexual harassment to minors, I understand that sometimes people whom are in fact special needs may struggle with understanding that certain things shouldnât be said but if he could entertain a conversation and continually tell me that although im 14 I look far too old for my age and that I should be told that more often, then he could obviously tell right from wrong! Especially considering the fact that he told us he graduated high school meaning he has to understand social cues and what not to say. This situation has genuinely scarred me and my friends because I no longer feel safe going to this theatre because not only were we followed and harassed by a member of their staff but our issues were excused and passed off as normal. If I could I would 100% rate this a zero but thatâs not possible so I...
Read moreUpdate: I'm revising my review to 2 stars after a bad visit. Came here this past weekend to see the new Alien movie. My husband is a huge fan of the franchise and was excited to get a collectable popcorn bucket. We read online that you cannot buy them early and it's 1 per person. The movie JUST came out Friday and the staff told us they've been sold out for about 3 weeks already. Not only that, but they were selling multiple buckets per customer so apparently most the buckets went to only a handful of people. The reason these are supposed to be sold starting on the release date and limited, is because people buy them up then resell them on eBay for quadruple the price. When I said that was not the policy I read about online the staff said that's what the manager had decided. We will not be coming here if there is any collectable tied to a movie and this definitely seems like a lucrative trend that we're only seeing more and more of. As a side note, the women's bathroom was disgusting and the concession snacks were AWFUL this time. $30 for a large popcorn and 2 drinks, I expect the popcorn to be fresh and not cold and for the sodas not to be flat. All and all, really ruined the outing but the staff is always friendly and the movie was excellent.
Original 5 star review: Came for a Monday afternoon movie. We had QR tickets that wouldn't scan at the kiosk so we went to the concession stand to see if someone could help us navigate the menu better, which was asking for a barcode and giving us an error. Megan was working the counter, she was great, very helpful and friendly! She offered to take care of the tickets right at the register! She quickly scanned our tickets and then answered questions my husband had about the different meal combos with movie related tins and cups. The popcorn was warm and buttery and the soda was sweet and fizzy. The movie screen and sound was great quality and the chairs are the nice big recliners with swivel tables, very comfy! Used the restrooms before we left, everything was clean and tidy. Had a nice time and will...
Read moreWhen I came into the movie theater, there was no one on the concession line. I went up to the front and waited. There were about 4 or 5 people behind the desk standing around talking and only 1 was really doing work. But all of them saw me standing there and didn't come up to me at all. They literally looked at me, then kept talking to each other.
After about 3-4 minutes I asked if anyone was taking orders and one of them acted surprised and came over to help me, but then I realized they only started to come over because there was now another person on line behind me.
I ordered a couple of items, including a cheese pizza. When I got into the theater and took a bite, the pizza was spoiled. It had a sour taste. I didn't even bother taking it back because I knew the people working the concession stand would probably look at me with the same dumb looks they gave me before while I was waiting to be served. I didn't feel like dealing with the incompetence so I just threw the pizza away.
I actually used to like this theater, but I won't be back after that. There are plenty of other theaters that can...
