The last three movies my family and I have attended have been interrupted throughout the entire movie by rude ignorant people either talking/screaming to someone on their cell phones about them being on camera breaking into their house and if they do their going to shoot them, while their kids ride hover boards in the back handicapped aisle, or non stop talking and making hissing noises at each other while changing their seats multiple times chasing each other and laughing, to throwing food at each other and leaving their recliners out with mounds of food and garbage when they leave. Not one time has an employee checked on the theater or walked through. For $70 a movie for my family each time this is not ok. It amazes me that human beings can even act this way and not feel ashamed but even more so that the theater can’t send one of there several employees on staff in to check and make sure that some ignorant uneducated rude people aren’t ruining the movie for the rest of us normal movie goers who pay a small fortune to watch a movie with their kids. We go at least twice a month and though about the unlimited plan but now highly debate ever come back and spending even a $1 here. There’s no excuse why people act like zoo animals instead of civilized human beings in 2024. And parents, teach your kids to not be rude...
Read moreThey charge an extra $1.50 fee for it being a new movie and no that doesn't mean a movie in its first or 2nd week it means ANY MOVIE on it's ENTIRE RUN that's not a twenty-year-old movie like Lord of the Rings!! Oh and now there are commericals before the terrible previews! OH AND ALSO I had 2 FREE movie tickets I got a few years ago and when turned then in there was a FEE because TICKETS COST MORE NOW! But its literally a ticket for a free movie why are you trying to take the most money you POSSIBLY CAN FROM ME?!?! what penny-pinching cheap way to run a business. ugh.
Two years ago now: Went to a Sunday night Special PPV Came back out to buy popcorn about 20 minutes after start of show. They told us the concession stand was closed. We left EARLY from my the show because it was so long and the gate back out to the mall was locked. Went down the stairs and I arrived outside the farthest point from where my car was on the exact opposite side of the mall. So we walked a mile in the rain in a circle to my car. Wrote Regal and they said they aren't allowed to give refund but gave me a giftcard that was $4 less than what I paid that I have to use in 3 months which I never did because hollywood makes about 3 good movies...
Read moreGot to the theater and was told that the movie advertised on their web site and on their marquee was cancelled due to technical difficulties! The two different girls taking the money didn’t even know it was canceled!! The manager on duty was standing in the back behind the concession stand and they had to ask him why the seating chart wasn’t showing up on their computers! The manager wasn’t brave or professional enough to step up to tell the 4 couples in line that the movie was cancelled. No sign was on display anywhere! One couple that we talked to, drove all the way from Pennsylvania! The manager should have been professional enough to speak to all of us (we weren’t there all together in one group). He should have been offering passes for the inconvenience this caused everyone. No apologies from him. He left the girls on the front line all alone to share this unknown news to the customers! I think they wanted to use the theater for another more popular movie showing, so they used the excuse of “technical difficulties “—not caring that this ruined the plans and inconvenienced those of us who came out to see a movie!! Shame on Regal and this supposed manager for handling this...
