Centereach Square — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

As all Walmarts great prices and good selection. I must add that this store is not as clean as it should be. This centereach Walmart for some reason puts out goods during the busy times making it impossible to maneuver around the flats, end caps and promo items in the center,not much space to walk. There are also permanent polls that the cart can't pass through so your stuck trying to get out of an overcrowded clothing area. Now with the 5 cents a bag ripoff going on( who's idea was that? Not only do we now buy a stores goods we have to pay for a bag to take it home?!!) Back to checkout,the people that work the registers are pretty nice,stressed out and o reworked but still nice. If your in a rush...FORGET THIS STORE there are only 2 check outs open out of about 20. GOTTA KEEP PROFITS UP I GUESS so you wait forever. Then you have to juggle all your items,that is if your tired of paying for a bag, and get stopped at the door after waiting forever to check out,to have THEM CHECK you out. The most crowded area is food and cleaning items,again the poll in the way in cleaning. If you are looking for something and can't find it? Save your breath asking ( unlike target which goes out of there way to check the back room) you will be told," IF ITS NOT ON THE FLOOR WE DONT HAVE IT" .It's been the standard answer forever. I purchased a steam machine for my rugs.After returning 4 yes FOUR times each with a different problem( one was returned broken and just put back on the floor) I finally found one that was ok. You can't find a manager or anyone in management so you are stuck talking to kids who are overworked underpaid and as you can see hate there job. I'm sure Walmart sent alot of kids RUNNING to collage😀. Basically if you can get to a Walmart that is not this one run there.Between no carts, carts can't fit down isles, flats of stuff everywhere and long check out, just very cramped go to another if you can. Adding to this review, walmart did an overhaul of the store sadly you STILL CANNOT GET AROUND WELL. Items are in strange places and the permanent polls still block a cart. I'm sure there is a way to remedy this BUT I dont think they care. Ppl that go to this store seem more aggressive and short on patience than other Walmarts I...

Walmart has slowly grown on me over the years. I was so appreciative during the Pandemic because of the delivery convenience. I can't even tell you how many times I ordered from them and they delivered right to my doormat. Thank you so much!

Today I was at Walmart and was very impressed with all the beautiful holiday gifts, decorations, specialty food products and the list goes on. The refrigerator / freezer section is reasonably priced and well stocked. During these tough times financially I still find that Walmart is very competitive and strive to give the consumer the best price possible.

Staff has positively improved over the years. I find them to be pleasant and helpful. Thank you for all you do and working so hard. I intend on remaining a loyal customer for many...

An eclectic selection of stores: WalMart, sporting goods, and various smaller retailers. There are area restaurants for you and the family beyond the Centereach Square perimeter (Olive Garden is bordering the South side of Centereach Square abutting Middle Country Road).

Trick or Treating with your kids on Halloween at this mall might be a good idea if you believe it safer than going door to door im residential areas. It seems to be the growing trend. 10.28.19.
