YOU KNOW THIS ABSOLUTELY SUCKS BECAUSE THEY HAVE SO MANY AMAZING REVIEWS AND I WAS SOOO EXCITED ABOUT BOOKING WITH THEM FOR MY 22ND BIRTHDAY CELEBATION BUT TOO BAD I DIDNT GET PAST MAKING THE RESERVATIONS. THEY NEED A NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE BECAUSE WHOEVER SHE IS HAPPENS TO BE ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND DISGUSTING! THEY ADVERTISED A RATE ONLINE FOR THE WINTER SPECIAL AND I'VE SPOKEN TO HER NUMEROUS TIMES JUST TO GET SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED AND EACH TIME SHE REASSURED ME THAT THE PRICE WAS AS SEEN. WELL TONIGHT I CALLED BACK TO BOOK MY RESERVATION AND WAS TOLD THAT THE PRICE WAS ACTUALLY HIGHER THAN THE PRICE I WAS ORIGINALLY TOLD. SO OF COURSE MY NEXT QUESTION WAS WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WINTER SPECIAL AND APPARENTLY THEY DECIDED TO CHANGE THE EXPIRATION DATE LAST MINUTE (AND TO MAKE IT WORSE THE NEW EXPIRATION DATE IS THE DAY BEFORE I PLANNED ON GOING). I THEN ASKED FOR A MANAGER; WHO TOLD ME TO DO THAT? THIS LADY WENT OFF! SHE STARTS YELLING AS IF I DONT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK QUESTIONS. AND THEN SHE HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME I CALLED TO MANY TIMES AS IF MY BUSINESS DOESNT MATTER TO HER. IT SUCKS THAT THE ADVERTISED QUOTE WAS RANDOMLY CHANGED BUT THE FACT THAT SHE WAS SOOOO NASTY ABOUT IT MADE IT EVEN WORSE! IF I COULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS I WOULD. THATS HOW HORRIBLE THIS CUSTOMER...
Read moreI was quite optimistic about the prospect of booking with this company but was disappointed with the caliber of customer service we received when dealing with them on the phone or via email. I dealt with Laurie and Raquel in the office. Both had a very laissez-faire attitude and were not flexible with simple requests. Every question or request seemed like a bother or an interruption of their day. Although their packages and prices can lure you in, their "take it or leave it" attitude casts an indelible shadow and is a complete turn off. They pretty much told me " it is what it is and take it or leave it." I never received a single thank you from them on the phone or in any of our email correspondence. One has to wonder if spending $1300 means that little to them.... Obviously it does. I informed them I booked with another company in my last email to them and never heard a word back. Not surprising. I wound up booking with another company that is committed to customer service and an overall guest experience. We feel valued and are certain that they are actively committed to delivering top notch service. We even saved a few hundred dollars and are getting a better package than what elegant offered. Poor first impression of elegant wine tours... You lost a series of customers because of your indifference and lack of commitment to customer service.... ANYTHING BUT...
Read moreI recently booked a wine tour for a birthday party. I was very happy with the service we got with this company and I'm glad I decided to use them. We took advantage of the winter special they offer and everyone in the group agreed the price was very reasonable for all that we got. I loved that the company took care of setting up the schedule for the day and the wineries we went to. The day before, the company called to confirm all the details. The day of our driver was great! He was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived at each winery he took care of getting us set up and ready for our tastings. It can be hard to coordinate with a larger group so this definitely helped with that. He checked in with our group here and there to see if we needed anything throughout the day. He went above and beyond in our opinion! Our whole group had a really good time. I would definitely use Elegant again in the future and recommend...
