I’ve been constantly discriminated against and feel targeted every time I shop at this location. The cashier is extremely rude, slams the goods that others donate, while I’m paying for them at the register. The manager is just as rude and careless as the lady I speak of. Every time I go there’s a problem or she has to triple check the count of clothes or stay for EVER searching for the tag color on the clothes. She doesn’t try and pack your things after she took a whole hour to ring up the items and calls on to other customers. People get frustrated with the long lines she unnecessarily creates doing things on purpose to try and upset me. This lady is usually at the register, but if she’s not the manager makes sure she is the one to ring me up each time I go and leaves her by herself or tells me to wait for her if it’s my turn to pay with someone that’s not her. I honestly don’t know what their problems are, I thought contributing to a good cause would be better than buying new at stores much closer to me- heck, I even donate at Goodwill. This uncertain feeling of being discriminated was validated yesterday 6/8/21 when I went in to shop and the same lady started shouting at me that the kids clothing are not on sale- the sign stated “shirts & t-shirts” did not specify gender or age while slamming the items on the floor with a smirk on her face. Heartbroken I had to leave my sons shirts and was allowed only shirts for myself and my husband. It felt personal, rude, cold and like I was being ganged up on when the manager was summoned by the rude cashier and she also gave me attitude stating that “the computer don’t take the sale for kids, doesn’t come up and the sign says shirts not kids shirts”. I never complain, but I feel overwhelmed from being discriminated for months now. This location...
Read moreThis place is a joke. I called to ask if I could donate a rocker glider, they said 'sure just bring it around back.' So the next day (my vacation day, no less) I put the chair and ottoman into the car and drove it on over. BTW the chair and ottoman were in excellent condition, solid wood, not a P.O.S. but a nice piece of furniture. So the guy around back 'Jason' let's call him, says we can't take anything larger than an end table. So I told him about the phone conversation the day before. He said they were wrong and he got a little nasty when I asked to speak to the person who answers the phone. So I showed him the chair (just so he could see it wasn't that big) and he still was not cooperative. I told him, 'okay, no problem' I'll bring it the the Salvation Army. Then he changed his tune and decided to take it. I mean really, it was a donation and a good one at that. Bottom line...next time donate your stuff to a organization that appreciates it, there are many out there. Goodwill, you lost me and hopefully other people who read...
Read moreItems were way overpriced. Store is cramped and disorganized. As far as clothing goes, it's all divided by color rather than size, so if you want to look for a size 8 skirt, you have to go through ALL the skirts to find the size 8s for each particular color. Of course, if you know you are looking only for a black skirt, for instance, then you can just go to the section of black skirts and go through all of them to see if there's one in your size. This place was such a disappointment when compared to the Goodwill where I used to shop in Cincinnati - it was large, brightly lit, well-organized, and clothing was divided by type (blouse, skirt, slacks) and then by sizes. Made shopping so much easier. Also, the prices at my old Goodwill were SO much lower than here. I did pick up a few non-clothing items that I'm pleased with, however. If you want to return an item (for instance - an appliance that doesn't work properly) you can do so within 5 days if you have your receipt and you can only be issued store credit. I'm shopping for...
