Oh my goodness where do I even begin? This incredible Goldmine of a grocery market find that I have recently been so lucky to Discover? Over the past year or so people have been telling me about Aldi and I have shut them down and not listened until I’ve made it my biweekly mission round and going there with almost all my groceries from my very healthy teen teenage sons list. Recently they have become super healthy and cost me and their dad hundreds of extra dollars a week in groceries and all has saved us with the blackberries raspberries, blueberries, pineapple avocado, you name it the little baby tomatoes that are basically the best tomatoes I’ve ever had in my life through under three dollars every produce and olive oil to the pure maple syrup and the really expensive Irish cheddar that I can’t even afford a normal grocery store all he has for me. Besides that I’ve begun to go in when I call is the dangerous aisle where there’s things like dog beds and kitchen supply items and things that I always tell people if you don’t get them this day you’re not gonna see them again cause they will never be here again. I’ve gotten the coolest items in the dangerous aisle. I have six pets. They all fight over the one dog bed that’s so fluffy and cozy and if you were to buy in target it would be about $60. The one I found is identical. It’s called the donut fluffy bed. It’s called and it was $19 at all these for the same exact thing. I get very happy about finding a deal because I’m a very thrifty girl or cheap as some people might call it. All these has saved me hundreds of dollars a month and that’s not even an exaggeration. I thank you so much Aldi for being so incredible. I also thank you for having the freshest most beautiful produce I’ve ever seen in my life, the best tasting croissants bagels, and the imposter laughing cow cheese is that cost me so much money normally I’ve never bought them again at Price Chopper or Walmart because they have a generic brand that looks exactly the same and it taste even better just like most of their items. You need to try out all the at least just one time go in there and you’ll be hooked and you’re gonna save yourself a huge amount of buck. And that’s what it all comes down to doesn’t it? Oh, by the way, this last picture I posted was the smoked turkey which is even more of a name brand at all day. It was a butterball brand and it was like 20 something dollars for this humongous smoked turkey that at Walmart would be about $49 for the no-name. It was absolutely delicious and juicy and it was incredible. Best smoked turkey I’ve ever tasted Thank you Aldi all around for everything I have and all the money I still have in my wallet because of you. Best grocery market made. I don’t know how to survive without all the before the last two years...
Read moreFirst time going to this Aldi location. At the check out point- we had to wait for someone to come and cash us out. Waited patiently till this lady- who refused to let us know her name, started to grab my stuff and indicated we could not take more than two eggs- mind you there was no sings or nothing letting us know that. She then proceeded to talk to us rudely and started to assume that the person before me, were paying together, which we were not..... and because she kept arguing about me having four things of eggs, she took two away and stated "only two per person- we did not know that........I was not upset about what she said- but the way she came across rudely was not acceptable. She made the mistake of taking my stuff and combine it with the one that was behind me and charged me for both-- like why? you can tell she was arguing and not focusing on treating a customer kindly. She then assumed that the person that came with me lived with me and he wanted to buy the other two eggs- and she stated " no, everyone tries to get away with this and i know you two live together?" excume me lady- how do you know we live together? you dont know us and you are making assumptions. I was upset at the way she spoke and treated me that i asked for her name and she stated " i dont need to give you my name-- and stated you dont have to come back here" like really?!
is this how professional people at ALDI's stores act? you think that because you are in charge? it allows you to treat customers disrespectful? WRONG. While i was leaving----She continue to talk bad about me and the person i came into the store with and told them "i know they live together, do they think i am stupid."
Again my first time going here and it was a horrible experience- and I may add that she can act like this to anyone and even the very same people that work with her. I feel bad for all those that have to work with her.
I would like to know her name and who closes the store on friday evenings because we can keep people like that working in a place that dealing with customers, weather you like it or not, you dont become disrespectful and dont act like business wont be affected when you treat people like trash. You might be racist too lady- but come on- at least know how to treat people weather you are racist or not, professional or not. Be happy you...
Read moreThis is a decent Aldi location. It's always well maintained and the shelves are stocked. Cashiers are always friendly. My only issue really is the variety at this particular store. So Aldi has its staples right, but the only reason I go to Aldi is to get random fun items to supplement my traditional grocery shop. The random different meat options, salmon, cheeses, and prepared food are kind of my go tos. This aldi tends to have a lot of frozen pizzas and flatbread. Aldi's flatbread is just not the greatest and every week I feel like it's all I see in terms of prepared foods. Last week there were 2 different pepperoni flatbreads, a vegetarian eggplant type flatbread, a Korean bulgogi flatbread. There were others too! Like how many freezers need to be stocked full with flatbreads? Are they this popular in Glenville? Idk if I am just hitting this particular Aldi for every flatbread pizza extravaganza week or what, but I'm not a fan of the selection
TLDR Great location, clean, friendly. Lot of flatbread and...
