I do not typically write reviews, but I’m very surprised at how many positive reviews are on here and wanted to offer a different perspective. Perhaps I went in on a bad day. I had spent about a month doing research on different types of mattresses and the average price point of different options for both online and in person retailers. I was fairly sure I would pick a mattress I had found from an online retailer after reading many reviews and already having a good experience purchasing my kids’ mattresses from that brand. However, since Mattress Firm was advertising specials and sales, I figured I would visit the store and see if they had any good options. First, the sales man marched up to me with no introduction, just jumped right into asking me about what I wanted (fine, but not exactly welcoming customer service). After advising him of what I wanted and my price point, he marched me over to the “value zone” and told me I wouldn’t find what I wanted for my price. I advised that I was already looking at a highly rated mattress online, which met the criteria I was looking for. He asked what brand, then proceeded to scoff in my face, “I’ve never heard of it” and then YELL across the store to the other employee to ask if she had ever heard of it. I was ready to leave at that point. I advised him that it was in fact a reliable brand and that my kids both had mattresses from there. He then laughed and demanded to know what kind of warranty came with that product. At that point it became clear that he was less interested in earning my business and more interested in making it seem that I knew nothing and he knew everything. On my way out I learned that this sales person’s name was Marty. The other reviews on here offer him praises, so perhaps it was just an off day. But thanks to Marty I’ll be sure not to go back...

Walked in, straight to the back of the store, picked out a Full sized mattress while the 2 guys working finished up what they were doing. I was then approached by Ron who kindly walked me through the rest of the process of smoothly purchasing a new bed for my aunt. I explained to Ron that she is currently living in Assisted Living & will be moving in with me within the next few weeks, buying her bed is a big step! I was thrilled when Ron told me about the Free Adjustable Base that I would be able to get for my aunts bed! It's perfect for her, she's so short; she'll be able to get in & out of bed easily with that. I had a quite positive experience at the store. Both gentlemen were friendly & knowledgeable. The only "crazy" thing is that I had to have the "exact amount" of the purchase price or use my card because they aren't able to "make change" at the store 🤔 that is Quite Peculiar. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 9.5/10 - taking 0.5 for the "no change" policy. I'd Definitely, 100% recommend this store & it's staff to anyone else looking for a new mattress.

I purchased a bed on 4/2/22 from Don and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Don knows his stuff and it was a pleasure to have him wait on me. However, I wish I could say the delivery was as great. It was pouring on 4/7 when my bed was delivered. First - the driver nearly took out my mailbox backing into my driveway, ignoring the person directing him.

Second - they took the frame out of the box and carried it in the pouring way into the house. The frame was wet & they didn't bother to wipe it off. They never put shoe protectors on their shoes so they were leaving wet footprints on my carpets.

Third - they never closed the door behind them, just left it wide open.

Fourth - I told them where I wanted the bed and they put it where they thought it should be.

Fifth - they never asked me if I wanted the extra risers put on the base of the bed...I inquired about them in the box.

Sixth - they never picked up after they were done.

Last of all they were speaking to each other in their native tongue which I felt was very rude. They knew English because when I asked them a question, they answered in English.
