Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Glenville

Went there Saturday 9/20 for lunch around 12:30. Place was dead and rightfully so. The crew was not interested in working or providing a service, just bullshitting and looked to be stealing time. The place or the employees didn’t look clean whatsoever. The wait wasn’t bad, but since when did you guys stop putting scoops of fries in the bag?!? Not only were the fries not crispy, but I ordered a large fry thinking I would share with the wife and kids because even a little fry used to fill me up and when I received my order there wasn’t a single Fry in the bag outside of the cup. I received a 3/4 full large cup of fries sitting next to my burger. I literally paid over 8 dollars with tax for this large fry and was so disappointed. The scoops of extras fries always made the pricey food worth it… clearly not anymore or at this location. French fry shrinkflation for sure. Paid 19 dollars and change for a little bacon burger and a large fry and I feel like I was just violated or robbed. Never again five guys never again. Service used to be great. Used to get a little bacon burger for 6 bucks not 10 like it is now and a large fry for 5 bucks not 8, and you get way less food for almost double the price it used to. Shame shame, they’ll be outta business shortly I’m sure at this rate....

I ordered 4 burgers and 2 fries for delivery and only got half my order and I called them. They had me pick up the other two burgers, and the ones I got at home became cold and soggy. When I went in explaining my 2 burgers at home will be cold, he said “we should re-do the whole order” and l said “yes you should” and I waited in the parking lot and received just two burgers in bowls they forgot to get delivered to me. When I asked where’s the whole order, he said he never agreed to that. I wasted $80.00 for 4 cold burgers, plus time and gas for me to get my whole order, plus paying Uber eats fee and 20% tip! I rarely order delivery because it’s so expensive, but my wife had major back surgery 4 weeks ago and decided to treat my family. Never again will I order from them....

I love five guys I love the burgers I love the shakes I love the fries probably the best in terms of fast food.

I drive for doordash and the employees at this store attempt to not release food without the name of the customer the truth is. Within the door - application the order number and client are given a number and a listing of the food. The store would not release food to me with the number and the food and it is a disservice to the customer. It cost five guys time and it cost doordash time and ultimately the customer time. It seems childish to break that professional barrier.

However the food is absolutely delicious best burgers around that's for sure except maybe in Scotia by the river there's a place that serves up some junk jumping jack serves up some...
