If time travel was a real, and I only had one chance to use it, I would go back in time to stop my friends and I from going here. Firstly, although this may not be the fault of the store, we had a problem finding the place. It was incredibly difficult and we were almost late to the appointment. My friends and I thought this would be the worse of our problems, but in all honesty it was forgotten by the end of the experience. Yes, it was that bad. When we first arrived there was absolutely no one at the desk. We waited 10 minutes for somewhere to appear (it is to be mentioned the door bell kept going off while we were waiting), and when the attendant finally appeared she handed us the iPad to sign our waivers and left us once again. Once she had come back about another ten minutes later, she told us they were a bit behind a schedule and needed sometime to set up. We were very understanding, she was very sweet to us at first and we know the service industry can be hard. That being said, we didn’t get into the room until nearly an hour after our scheduled time. Also they proceeded to tell several customers they were full despite no one but us being there. Once we were in the room, she quickly ran and muttered through the rules and set up, and left us with directions that in the end weren’t correct. We were very confused the whole time, and each time we buzzed for a clue she didn’t come. It took her 20 minutes for us to get a clue only for her to say “well did you try it?”. The room wasn’t immersive at all, and instead of having different rooms they had levels, which were just a bunch of additional locked boxes everywhere. Nothing was connected at all. And nothing was labeled. My friends and I have done a bunch of escape rooms before and this was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had. When we left, although she again was nice at first, the attendant seemed kind of over it, and didn’t want us there anymore. We spent over $130 to sit in an uncomfortable room that was the size of a cubicle, an hour after our game time, for ten minutes less of the average escape room. Would...

If you're considering an escape room in Albany, do yourself a favour and avoid this one. Our experience was incredibly disappointing. The storyline was weak, and the decor was practically absent—just stickers on the walls and a few broken props scattered around. It felt more like a makeshift setup than a thoughtfully designed escape room.
The lack of immersion was evident from the start. All the rooms looked the same—poorly decorated and badly maintained. With doors open, we could see the sorry state of every room. The puzzles were uninspired, mostly involving numerous padlocks, and didn't offer any excitement or challenge.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed uncomfortable and unprofessional. Our game was cut short when a staff member walked in after 50 minutes, realizing we still had 10 minutes left on the time, and turned around. The props were dirty, many were broken, and the walls didn't reach the ceiling, which would have allowed us to hear everything from the neighbouring rooms—fortunately (but not surprisingly!), we were the only ones there.
Considering the high price, this experience was far from worth it. Save your money and opt for an arcade or a movie instead. This escape room is not worth your time or money. We were mislead by the Google reviews and hope this one will help others make the same mistake we did... 120$ down the drain - we should have asked for a refund as soon as we saw how bad the...
