Last night was our first time dining at 110 grill. I ordered the spinach dip for an appetizer that arrived with stale chips and consisted of melted cheese with spinach baked into it that had a pool of grease or butter on top, it had no flavor and was disgusting. I sent it back and told the manager that it was nasty. He asked if I wanted another or a sub, I declined. Our waitress also came back and asked again, due to this I could tell that they didnāt want to comp the appetizer and was trying to find an alternative but I still declined. The sodas were flat and there were various knats flying around but I overlooked that because I was trying to give this place a chance⦠until I received the nasty spinach dip. We then waited a long while for our food that was terribly bland with a hunk of butter on top. Two Salmon dinners and one swordfish dinner that tasted like charbroiled fish! We all were constantly shaking salt and pepper over the food just to make it edible. The sides were sub par but easy to eat compared to the fish. I received a $117 check that still included the spinach dip, I paid it anyways because that is the first and last time that they will get my business. Our waitress was nice and enjoyable which is why I didnāt fuss to her about the bill and did not short her on tip because of it, but the food was horrible. The food tastes like theyāre cooking for a nursing home. And I saw the cooks all talking about how I sent the dip back. Iām sorry but nasty is nasty and from the rest of the reviews it seems as if they need to find more qualified cooks that know how to use seasonings. I didnāt not take a picture of the receipt but I did note on it that they still charged me so that they know that I know how they were inconsiderate about it. Honestly, I should have followed my instinct and left after the spinach dip came out the way it did because non of us enjoyed our meal and it really bothered me to sit and act like everything was ok when it was not. While leaving I saw a table with a good amount of food left on the plates. You know itās bad when people donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSince this place opened a couple months ago, my boyfriend and I have been wanting to try it. Based off of their menu, it seemed like a place we would have loved, and often gone back to for nicer dates, as their items are a bit pricier. Sadly, this isnāt at all the case. We went last night for our anniversary and were utterly disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the food was just the opposite of that. The complementary bread and garlic butter was amazing. We ordered tater tot poutine as an app and those, too, were delicious. Things were looking promising so far. We both ordered the steak tips for our entrees (our usual go to if its on the menu). I ordered the cold asian salad and seasonal vegetables (sauteed green beans) as my sides and my boyfriend ordered the cold asian salad and broccoli. This is where things unfortunately went south. When our meals came out, the presentation was nice and it looked good⦠until we actually put it in our mouth. As politely as my boyfriend put it, āit tasted like the steak was chewed up, spit out, cooked again and servedā. The consistency of the meat was like no other; by far the weirdest and grossest I have ever come across. Aside from the consistency itself, the meat was fatty. No one enjoys eating or is paying for fat. On top of the disgusting meat, my green beans were not cooked at all (this wasn't the end of the world for me as I like fresh, crispy green beans, but they were most definitely not āsauteedā as described). The Asian salad was mediocre at best and my boyfriend enjoyed his broccoli (pretty much the only thing he actually DID enjoy from his entree). All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because of the bread and butter...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to 110 Grill tonight at the Crossgates Mall and had an absolutely fantastic meal! Wish I had gotta pictures but unfortunately not. Regardless tho as soon as I walked in we were taken care of right away. I have Celiacs and for the First time ever when I walked into a restaurant the very nice hostess asked if anyone needed a gluten free menu. That right that made me feel awesome bc as I said thatās never happened before. Don was our server and I have to be honest he was amazing! One of the most attentive servers we have ever had. Anything we needed he was immediately on top of it! We didnāt have to ask for a thing. The food was Deeelicous!! The fact that I had my own menu to choose from with an excellent array of choices to browseā¦.truly gave me such a great feeling. They take excellent care of their customers and are extremely careful with those who have food allergies. It was just Awesome! Don and all the staff that stopped by were very kind and you could really feel that care they had for their jobs. Don is the man and I completely recommend you ask for him when going! You will not regret his service or the food! We started off with the BBQ Chicken Nacos which were so good!! My fiancĆ© couldnāt stop munching on them š The kids had the pasta and French fries and also a cheeseburger with fries which the both tore up! Then my fiancĆ© had the fish and chips which she loved! I had the hot honey chicken sandwich which was So Good!!! My whole meal was gluten free and even came out with a āallergyā toothpick to make sure everyone knew to be careful. We were all so pleased to go here tonight. It was our first time and certainly will not be the last! Canāt wait to be back! Thanks to Don and all the amazing staff for...
