Today was my second visit for the same thing. A couple months ago I went in and I requested for my hair to be done a certain way. She said that she does not like doing that but assured me it would be fine. Fast forward, it was awful. (and at a cost of $170.00) The owner called me and said that I could come back in and the manager would do it. I went in today and requested the same exact service to which she said, we will just wrap less hair. Fast forward to afterwards and it looks awful again. I have been doing this for 35 years, so I know what needs to be done. They do not listen and they are lazy. Take your money elsewhere.
Response to Owners Response: I never once said 10 salons. I used to go to the school, that’s what I said. I requested a piggy back perm the first time and this time as well and neither time did they do it, they would rather argue with the customer and say “we will wrap less hair”. I also told you this when I spoke to you about the first visit, I have a lot of hair and it is heavy, you cannot just wrap it and expect it to come out okay. Two girls did not work on my hair for 3 hours. I got there at 1130 and left at 2 and the girl that helped wrap my hair did 1/3 of it and that’s it. Read moreUnfortunately I gave them two chances, and both ruined my hair. My first experience here I was getting highlights for the very first time I had a million questions and requested somebody that I could talk to to ease some of my discomfort the girl I got didn't speak to me I tried asking her some questions she gave me basic answers which didn't help calm me down and I let her know I've never had my hair colored in any way before, halfway through she looks at me and goes oh is this your first time getting your hair colored. I did not feel like she listened to me the whole time my second visit I was rushed in and placed in a chair, I asked for just a light dusting got more than a couple inches off and it was completely choppy I kept saying just a little bit and more and more came off, the final result looks like a 2-year-old took to my hair with scissors. I'm disappointed in this location they're not personable at all and the quality of the hair cut or color is just not good at all. Response: There was no one in the salon when I came in at 6:30 ( I actually called ahead) not 5:30 as I dont get out of work till 6. The women who cut my hair didn't have a newborn, the women leaving the salon saying she needed to get to her newborn, didn't even cut my hair. She dry cut my hair as well, and its highly uneven when I asked for a bit off. Please dont make excuses , no matter the issue it shouldn't be rushed. Read moreI waited two years to get my hair done, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I came in with clear instructions, explained by my cousin who went to cosmetology school, detailing a long side bang and short layers. The hairstylist appeared uncomfortable, laughing throughout, but I trusted her to deliver the style I requested. Instead, my bangs were cut way too short, the layers were uneven, and my hair was left frizzy—looking worse than when I arrived.
Additionally, I requested an eyebrow and lip wax. Not only did the stylist make an unprofessional comment about my facial hair, and about my eye ( I'm legally blind and one eye is deflated)but she also left wax on my face and in my hair, which I had to pick out at my niece’s concert. She never put anything on my skin after waxing either.
I expected professionalism and skill for the $70 I spent, and sadly, I did not receive that. I wouldn’t recommend this salon based on my experience.
Update. The salon manager did reach out and invited me back to help me feel better. He came in on his day off and balanced the cut a little better. Still not exactly what I initially went in wanting but hey you can't put cut hair back on.... but I left feeling way less frizzy, and with no wax on my face or my hair. My cousin dyed it and...
