Donna Nails — Attraction in Town of Hempstead

So, first time I visited this nail establishment, they made me wait at least 20 minutes, even though I had made an appointment. (That’s a deal breaker for me)

I soaked my gel powder and then was moved on to someone else (strange, but ok)

Finally, I sat down and a young lady started my nails. I was very happy with the result (she was a perfectionist ) and gave me her name and a business card.

Three weeks later I made an appointment and went back. Waited again, (I was getting annoyed) but a different woman took me (not the girl who originally did them the first time, who I had wanted to go to)

She was so frantic, answering the phone and all the other things that she does, that my nails were not done like the first time. I noticed some other reviewers claiming that it was not the cleanest, and it’s not. She pulled out cuticle nippers from who knows where, sprayed them with who knows what and attempted to cut my cuticles. No thanks!

This place is cheaper than some others in the area, but I really don’t want to compromise my health for $10. I’ll be moving on to find a new and...

I went in there and I asked for a full set powder tips I asked for coffin shaped they said it’s an extra five dollars for shipping on top of that I wanted it a little bit longer than an inch not even off of the actual nail bed and they said it was an extra five dollars on top of that the woman literally had to do over One hand to different times because she kept making the nails way too short and uneven on top of that I ended up going with a regular style now because I did not feel like paying the extra five dollars and I ended up compromising and going shorter than I originally wanted because I did not feel like paying the extra five dollars for that also and I end up getting miss shaped not even sized bulky looking nails For $45 I could’ve gone somewhere else and spent the same amount of money I could’ve gone somewhere else and gotten them done way better and properly shaped and size and not have been charged an extra 10 dollars for just shaping and sizing I only went to this location because it was convenient to where I live very...

I never leave reviews and I hate that this is my first time and it was a horrible experience. I went it to do simple pedicure and to change to the color of my nails. The pedicure lasted 10 minute and she scrubbed my foot once on both sides, then while she was painted I kindly asked the nail technician to please remove the white nail polish around my skin. She then sighed and said “oh my god” in an annoyed tone which made me feel very uncomfortable. She also told me I couldn’t change my nail color because I had Gel on and it wasn’t possible.
