I have very little design experience and was very worried about renovating my home. Mixing colors, tiles and floor is a major headache for for me and caused a great deal of anxiety. I came across Floor and Decor online and decided to take a chance to meet with a designer, Jennifer Diehl.
I am so grateful that I did because I got a chance to work with Jennifer Diehl. I did not know what to expect so I came empty handed and she was able to help me with very few pieces of information. I met her in the middle of the week and we started to talk like we were friends shopping together. (Laughing and giggling, I forgot I came with my husband.) I had 2.5 bathrooms to complete with a very tight budget. We were able to look at some clearance tiles and match them to other tiles. The designs I have to say were very beautiful and match my style. When all was done and I did my calculations, I went over my budget by $10. (That is with the 10% for contingency) I could not believe it!
Jennifer is smart, kind and really talented. During the time she was with me and my husband she took in what we were sharing about our tastes. She did not judge our choices or opinions and was honest about what match and what did not. I felt like I was learning what I liked and what I did not. We did not finish with the design of the three bathrooms because of time but she told me that she was going to think about it. When I met back with her she had a design ready and shared with me on her phone. I was so happy because it had all of the shapes that resonated with me.
I am going back to her again to get help with my kitchen tiles.

Read moreWorst service!!!!!Today when my husband, my baby and me went to the cashier to pay 4 pieces of floor samples, the cashier Mark said there is no 100 number on them, he cannot scan them. I said I can go there to take some pictures, but he gave us bad and impatient attitude. I run to take couple pictures and came back in less than 30 seconds since they are very close. He just started to scan next customer who has lot of items. I said can you do me first because we are in front of them and my baby really wants to go home since it’s her napping time? He said he doesn’t want to check for us and was very rude and strongly demanded we go back to the end line which is very long. We were surprised he was doing this way to us. I said you cannot reject us to pay and he said he can. We then asked help from another worker. The lady helped us to check out and didn’t even use any 100 number. She said sample floor doesn’t need any number, it’s just $5 each. It means that the cashier Mark lack of knowledge, but was very rude to us, waste our time, gave us a very hard time and let us to pay his fault!!This is ridiculous!!! Even at the end he knew his fault, he was still rude and yelled to us without any apologies words. My 3 years old baby was scared of him and cried when she saw him again in front of the door. Read moreWOW!!!!!! I walked in not knowing what to expect and approached Suzette and asked for help picking a marble tile for my garage. The first thing that struck me was her amazing warm and welcoming smile. She asked what I needed and immediately brought me to a beautiful marble tile and it was exactly what I was envisioning for my space. She then quickly educated me on the sealer I needed. The other product was Thin set she called over Nicholas who approached us with an amazing how can I help attitude and helped us pick out the thinset and quickly educated me on why I needed Eco prom grip as I would be parking a car on the marble. I was checked out quickly and efficiently at the Pro desk and was on my way completely blown away by what in my humble opinion is the epitome of phenomenal customer experience could and should be. In my role as Chief Nursing officer at a NYC academic medical center I live and breathe patient/family experience every single day. What I experienced with Suzette and Nicole is what I strive for each of my over 2,000 employees to be for their patients every time. Their approach made me feel like a VIP and like I was being treated like one of your own family.
