Pizza Supreme — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

A while back I was up in New York for a family funeral in Valley Stream and stayed at a hotel a few blocks away from Pizza Supreme. I'm a native LI NY'er but, my wife and kids are from North Carolina and never tasted a real original New York pizza before. I took them to Pizza Supreme and it was the best pizza they ever had in their entire lives. The pizza and sauce were excellent, the garlic knots were the best we've had in over 10 years and their Italian style salad was fresh, tasty and appealing to the eyes. The owner (I think he was) and staff treated my family like VIP's. Thank you Pizza Supreme for showing my family why real New York pizza is the best by far and also the warm and welcoming atmosphere you showed to my family. I lived in Long Island for 50 years of my life. I use to go to California pizza in green acres mall valley stream. When they closed up I was so upset. I than found pizza supreme in west bury li. I followed them from the mall to strip mall in MASSAPEQUA Park than back to the place it is now back in west bury. I love there square pizza. I moved to Florida 10 years ago and miss there pizza ( the best! ) when I ever I come back to ny for a visit I go there every day. I asked them if they ship to Florida. It would cost me like a 100.00 to get it there over night. They will always be...

Very disappointed...

Sauce on Square Pizza (actually slices are rectangular) was very thick, pasty & salty. Used to put a nice rectangular slice of cheese on each slice. Now a drizzle of shredded cheese to look rectangular. Dough was good.

The Caesar Salad dressing was overpowered with anchovy paste & lots of grated cheese & black pepper. The dressing tasted hot from too much anchovy paste & black pepper.
