Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Starbucks never disappoints. It's a great place to stop off and get that coffee that your body is craving. This Starbucks was kind of crowded, and the parking lot was kind of rough with the spots very close together, but I was able to navigate that successfully and grab a coffee and a latte without incident. My hope is that Starbucks, who always cares about fair trade coffee and the circumstances of coffee growers in other countries, would do more for their baristas and employees who face the public everyday. I find it embarrassing, as a Starbucks shareholder, that Starbucks indulged in union busting practices like it was 1930. I still enjoy Starbucks, but I find the behavior of their management to be reprehensible, and this is part of the Starbucks experience that I do not enjoy, and hope that they will make an effort to be like companies who treat their employees exceptionally, like Costco, but that's a story for another time. The good news is that 99% of the time my beverage is perfect. It tastes great and I keep money in the app so that I can bank the star rewards points. Worst Starbucks I have ever been too. I work down the block so it is the most convenient. My office does marble orders all the time. I go there to pick up and two of my things we’re missing a cake pop and another drink. (Not the first time.) I am waiting there for another drink to be made and no one acknowledges me. After 15 min someone does and they said they don’t have to mobile order. I tell them what to make and they continue to make other drinks before mine. When I then say I’m only my lunch break and how much longer I get an attitude. My other part of the order was missing half the drink and no ice. I usually don’t complain I work in customer service but this is unacceptable. I called to get a refund and they told me I had to come back down there which is also super inconvenient and then when I do they are not phased about giving me a refund and don’t even apologize. Enter place the person at the register is leaning on the counter with her head on her hand, elbow on the counter typing order in with one hand. Surreal. Drink did not even resemble what I ordered, tall skim flat white had no foam was grey and tasted like warm watered down milk. Actually brought it back an hour later, they didnt want to remake it, then the remade one still didnt taste like the same drink that i regularly order from three different Starbucks, so manager offers money back, but i came for cup of coffe so i ask for another shot to see if it will start tasting like coffee and not warm milk so the worker who made the first lousy drink yells across the store, to the manager, that he needs to charge me another dollar.
