Tractor Supply Co. — Attraction in Town of Herkimer

Today my sister and I needed to get some bags of chopped alfalfa. We went to Rose and Utica stores and they had none. We went to your store in Herkimer and as always you could not get better staff so willing to help you. It is always a pleasure to walk in your store. You only had 2 bags. They first took the time to call several stores yo see if they had some. We were able to drive to Hamilton Store and the had 3 bags and saved it for us until we got there and then helped us put it in our car. We are 82 and 84 and appreciated the service we received. I couldn't find the item I was looking for. On my way out I came across this computer screen. It asked what I was looking for. I typed that item in and went all the way to the cc swipe. It didn't work. An employee offered to help and did so. The first problem. The packaging changed and the new one looked nothing like the old one. So the nice employee said they had 84 bags. It was literally 4' away. So we chose in store pick up and completed the transaction. After waiting a very long time and the employee couldn't figure out the delay I asked her to cancel the sale so I could get out of the store prior to the closing time. Took my dog to Tractor Supply in Herkimer to get his rabies vaccine. (They offer all the vaccines but this is all my dog was due for).There was a huge turn out but it ran like a well oiled machine. The people running the veterinary clinic are fantastic! I also had him microchipped per their recommendation. So to take him in, get the rabies vaccine and microchip along with a quick assessment and all necessary paperwork it only cost $41. And then they gave me coupons and I got a free bag of dog food (normally $8). What a great service Tractor Supply offers. Herkimer does it every Saturday and N.Utica every other Sunday. Not sure of Rome's hours. Will definitely do it this way next...
