Upon entering the UNIQLO Walt Whitman store, I immediately noticed that the displays and merchandise were in disarray. Racks were overstuffed, clothing was scattered on tables and floors, and signage was inconsistent or missing entirely. This lack of organization made it difficult to browse, detracting from the clean, modern retail environment typically associated with UNIQLO. In addition, the staff on duty appeared visibly fatigued and disengaged, rarely offering assistance or greeting customers unless approached first.
Adding to the frustration, I had visited the store specifically to purchase a pair of gloves that appeared as "in stock" on UNIQLO’s website. Unfortunately, the item was nowhere to be found in-store, and after asking for help, the staff could not locate it or offer an explanation. The discrepancy between the website’s inventory and the actual store stock was disappointing, and points to a broader issue with system accuracy. For shoppers relying on online availability to guide in-store visits, such inconsistencies create confusion and inconvenience.
While there are clear areas for improvement, particularly in organization and customer service, I still appreciate UNIQLO’s overall selection. With better in-store inventory management and more attentive staff interaction, this location could more confidently deliver the polished, customer-friendly experience that UNIQLO...
Read morePretty cool to have Uniqlo on LI! Wasn't honestly expecting them to choose LI out of all places especially around Huntington!
Everyone is pretty kind, it is tight though, and compare to NYC and online they do not have much in stock which is not shocking. But it is awesome you can see most of the popular things in person and also get your stuff alter there. Only complaints is for men they do not offer XS on pants, I rarely see it if they do have it. I had to order online for that. But you can do pickup and they are nice! Also feel like some of the clothes are all over the place, do not get me wrong it is organized but one thing will be at one side and the same group sweaters be across the other side, it can get overwhelming for a small store and I understand that is Uniqlo works, also wish they would put the clothes they show off on the manquin near the select clothes like the cool jackets are always never nearby. To repeat again they do pickup for online which is nice for being local! It's just a nice looking area of the mall and the few affordable...
Read moreI placed an order online for pickup at this location. I knew the items were in stock, so I went in the the day to pick everything up. The order wasn't ready, so I just grabbed everything off the shelf and brought it to the cashier. He said I would need for the items to arrive from the warehouse even though they already had what I ordered. I offered to cancel the order and buy everything again in person, but he wouldn't honor the $10 coupon I had used. The guy was just smirking the whole time and did not care about providing good customer service. It was very strange to stand there as a customer willing to hand them my money, but they seemingly did...
