GG’s Masalah Grill — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

It was a Saturday evening in November around 5:03 pm, and it was about 51 degrees outside. After parking my car in the parking lot for GG's Masalah Grill in Huntington Station, NY, I stepped out of the car, and as I was making my way to the restaurant, I hear an owl hoot in the background. Also, upon making my way toward GG's Masalah Grill in Huntington Station, NY, I could already smell in the air all the freshly made food that was being cooked at the restaurant. The scent of the freshly made food in the air was amazing, and the smell really made me want to check out this place as well.

Upon stepping inside GG's Masalah Grill in Huntington Station, NY, I was instantly greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner, Taqi. Taqi really took the time to get to know me, and we ended up chatting for quite some time. Also, Taqi was very friendly, and he truly made me feel at home right away. In addition, Taqi provided some great suggestions of potential items from the menu that I could order.

I ended up ordering the Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and a Yogurt Lassi. I was truly amazed at how excellent the quality of the food was. I will definitely going back to GG's Masalah Grill in Huntington Station, NY. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for excellent Indian food at not only a great price, but also with a great atmosphere. FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The portions are good enough for two people. However, I have to agree with someone else’s comment that this place is not the same as was pre-pandemic but atmosphere wise. They serve you plastic forks and a spoon, which will immediately melt at the tips when you stick them in the warm food. They used to serve in porcelain dishes and silverware and was a lot more cozy and had that home-made feel to it. Now is just an okay fast food place. If you do not have to seat down and eat there, SKIP IT AT ALL COSTS. Not sure if the exhausts in their kitchen are not working or what but man the smell of gas, fumes is so overwhelming and rather disturbing. It stays on your clothes, your skin, your hair, till you shower. They used to also play lovely Indian music and videos but now they either play some bizarre music or just have the tv screen play “fireplace” sounds …. Stick to keeping things original and really do something about the fumes because is very very disturbing and not a smell customers want to be smelling or inhaling while trying to eat your...

Oh my God was this good. Party of 4 and had no idea what to order. Asked the owner what was best? We told them to make it and serve it. Everything was made fresh. Short wait time but totally worth it. The food kept coming out in waves Meats were served on cutting board servers with onions and fresh vegetables. Boneless Marinated chicken pieces slightly crisped on the outside, hot and juicy on the inside. Chicken Boti with light weight Nan and Garlic Nan delicious. Gourmet zinger burger, with just enough spice, with out burning our mouths. Boneless Tandoori Chicken pieces once again crisp outside and moist hot insides. My son ordered the marinated wings. He was thrilled at the taste and quality. We will be back… Price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food that we received. The owners could not have been nicer to us.
