To begin, I wanted to Thank the Murphy family for everything that they have done and what they continue to do. When I was around 14 I came across a challenge coin in a antique store. It said operation Red Wings on the front of it. After some research and the viewing of the movie made on seal team ten, I came across LT Michael Murphy's photo. When I saw his portrait I immediately began to tear up. A young man who had many years ahead of him, was so devoted to keeping our country safe that he gave his life for all of us. I was born in 2004 so I was one when this occurred. But now that I fully know the story after all these years I'm glad his sacrifice never went unnoticed and I thank god for that. About a year ago I came across the merchandise website. My first thought was that I had to have something with his name on it so I can continue his legacy. I decided to buy a sticker and left a little message saying it would be an honor to have the back of the sticker signed by the LT's father. Never in my wildest imaginations did I think that they would get back to me with a signed sticker. Ever since that day the challenge coin and signature have stayed in my room as a constant reminder to become someone like LT Murphy. Because I live many states away, I have never visited this museum but its something that I want to do if I ever get the chance. My all time dream is to personally thank Daniel Murphy for what he did for me and to see the displayed medal of honor ( I'm a military antique collector so I Would love to see it). In closing, I wanted to thank everyone in the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum again and I hope to somehow meet...

I had visited this museum with my wife, but will definitely be bringing my son with me for a return visit. It's a must-see location here on...
Read moreThis place is really awesome. It’s a small place that you can easily walk through the whole thing in 5 minutes. HOWEVER, if you truly want to experience this place you cane easily spend 2 hours. This place gives you but a small peak into the sacrifices that have been made to make us the country we are today. You get a tiny window into the type of man Lt. Murphy was and others like him. It’s hard to say you enjoy this place because it is pretty sombering to see all the lives that have been lost in defense to our freedom but we know their sacrifices weren’t...
