Sayville Sandwich — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Been driving by lately noticing this place is in a great spot and it’s been around for a while so I wanted to give it a try.

I bought 4 sandwiches headed down to the boat, requested each half be wrapped separate, nothing crazy but 4 different types of sandwiches.

Everything was great, enough food without being impossible to eat, especially without making a mess on the boat. The guy helping me wrapped everything as requested which I understand may be a PITA but I promise it’s the best move for packing a cooler.

The other employees were all super friendly and polite to everyone in and out of the deli while I was there. The place looks very clean and there’s a great menu on the wall if you can’t come up with your own sandwich.

You will not find a sandwich shop with a more friendly staff, larger menu and outstanding catering services. They are the most accommodating people who genuinely like what they do. The place is always packed. From personal experience I can tell you their meatloaf is to die for, they catered our event for 200 people and it was flawless. Their round 3ft heroes saved us space on the tables and were so much more appealing. I cannot say enough about the Sayville Sandwich staff....

Horrible, literally the worst deli food I have ever ate, i threw it all out. Besides that the guy started making our sandwich and loud enough for us to hear complained about having to make the sandwich, and how he's not staying a minute past 3pm. It took so long other people waiting just left. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich that had no ranch on it, the breaded chicken was not good and tasted soggy. Avoid...
