Baldwinsville Public Library — Attraction in Town of Lysander

The staff that sit at the information desk in the back are very interesting the man who is normally back there with the beard can be very rude with how he addresses problems . he is constantly projecting his voice at someone telling them to stop doing something and his tone is very harsh. i do like the fact he cares what goes on in the library because the girl that’s back there let my client get yelled at by another patron and the patron called my client a “retard” (my client has a disability) it’s upsetting that kind of behavior is tolerated in this library it should be safe place for anyone to come . the guy needs to be a bit more positive and friendly and the other needs to be more aware with what’s going on in the library. overall tho this library is nice lots of books and most people that come here are nice . the front desk staff are amazing. and there is some very comfortable...

My son needed to take an exam for the United States Air Force. At home we do not have a desk top or laptop which the test required. So I brought him to the public library so he could use one of the computers there. My son was told by the "systems librarian" that he didnt want 10 laptops scattered around the library. My son told the "systems librarian" what he needed to use it for and he was still refused the service. This should never happen to anyone. And the fact that a portion of my taxes I pay go towards this public library, I would like to see a more compassionate person in the position currently being held by a person who seems to not want to provide services...

I love going to my public library. All of the staff is very respectful, helpful, and pleasant. I really enjoy observing the art work that is displayed and frequently changed on a regular basis. My library, has an extensive amount of current music and DVD's for my entertainment pleasures. The Baldwinsville public library is always very clean and they always seem to have something on the calendar to get involved in.
