Headless Horseman Statue — Attraction in Town of Mount Pleasant

Disappointed because I expected more. It’s hidden by trees. It doesn’t stand out. The lack luster display of some flowers an a few pumpkins was kinda sad. This is Sleepy Hallow. Literally known by many from a book. The story itself is iconic. If your going to dedicate a statue to it. Then do it big. Do it right. It’s pretty yes. But hidden by the trees as you pass by it on the main road. You literally drive right past it. An it backs up to a gas station. This is a cool statue but honestly for an attraction I would think it would be a lot different. This is hard to make out what it is. This would be great if it was a 3D statue that was not up so high in the air and you could pose with it and clearly make out that it's the headless horseman chasing Ichabod.

If you are a fan of Washington Irving's The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, or just passing through this should be a stop off. It's right at the end of the bridge that in the story the horseman could not cross. The statue itself is very neat to see and is easily accessed.
