What an awful experience. We showed up and sat down. The waiter came over and handed us menus without saying anything and walked away. He came back a but later and asked what we wanted. When my friend ordered she pointed to the menu, and ordered garlic knots, then pointed to chicken wings and asked for bbq wings. I ordered a sausage pizza. Then we both ordered the special espresso martini, and she added punpkin spice to hers and removed the espresso. He brought our drinks and my god were they strong. Hers had something floating in it so she sent it back and got a coke. We waited about 10 minutes and he brough the garlic knots. They were ok, but not the best ive had. Could use more garlic in my opinion but thats just me. We waited another halfan hour and finally a lady came by with a bbq chicken pizza. We informed her we didnt order it so she took it back. Finally our original waitor showed up and told us, "You ordered the bbq chicken pizza." We informed him, no she ordered the wings and pointed to the menu. Maybe if he wrote down orders he might remember. He said hed put it in and told us the sausage pizza i ordered was gonna be a few more minutes. We waited another half an hour and finally he brought out the food. He didnt appologize for the wait, or the mess up, he just put our food down and left. You could tell by his body language and demeanor that he did not want to be there. We were ready to go so we ate a little bit and then asked for the check. Again he came by and didnt say anything to us. When he came back my friend asked for a manager, which he said he was. Suprising given his total lack of customer service skills. She explained her frustrastion with the wait, and how he was acting to which he replied by telling us we didnt wait as long as we said, and completely blowing us off by telling us to have a good night, not addressing anything at all.
Overall food is ok, drinks were kinda awful and WAY overpriced. 17 dollars for a martini is robbery. Everyone looked so u happy to be working, not a single smile in the place, and if he is a manager he needs to be trained on customer service. We wont be back, but i doubt, given the attitude of the manager, that anyone would...
Read moreMy dad and I are from Atlanta and we were seeing a show at the Music Hall, we walked through the rain in NYC and then caught the train to TarryTown and then walked through the rain in TT aimlessly looking for food and came across Bleekmans Ale House, we stopped in and we’re happily welcomed in soaking wet. The bartender was so sweet (im sorry i forgot your name, but it was the mother of the owner!) she served us cold beers and the most amazing garlic knots i’ve had in a long time! I don’t know if it’s the water in New York but the dough is spectacular!!! I’ve been cooking pizza food for 15 years and these knots were better than anything i’ve tied up ! She let us dry off before we ventured off to our Airbnb! The next day we stopped by again with friends, the server and bartender were very cool and were happy to keep serving cold drinks and great pizza! The pizza is thin and perfect for ordering one after the other! I believe we had the white pizza and another with sausage and onions! We ordered three of the sausage and onion and one of the white and a few orders of the knot, honestly wish we ordered another white! I’m a bit tipsy but the pizza was just fantastic, the place left a great impression on us and will be only place we will eat at when/if we return to TarryTown! EAT AT THIS PLACE!!! Btw, still patiently waiting for Dave Portnoys pizza review score! I know it’ll be atleast an 8.2-8.5!! Thanks for keeping our stomachs full and our thirst quenched!!! Much love...

If you enjoy crocodile tears, passive-aggressive profiling, and a mix of miscommunication from the staff, Ding, Ding, Ding, you’ve reached your destination.
To be fair, the staff was overwhelmed by the rush-hour crowd. We arrived as a group of four and clearly communicated our party size twice, both verbally and with visual signals. Despite this, two parties who arrived after us were seated first. When we calmly and respectfully asked the petite young waitress why we were being skipped, she became flustered and visibly upset, blaming it on a miscommunication. We patiently waited again.
Shortly after, a male waiter reiterated our previous conversation and falsely accused us of yelling at the young waitress. We were dumbfounded and confused, realizing this was not a welcoming environment, so we decided to leave.
The staff needs professional training and should understand that working in this business involves...
