Barnhart Park — Attraction in Town of Mount Pleasant

Clean park. Mostly litter free. Police presence is always nearby or around, so that helps to keep it clean and safe. Can't comment much on the children's space but it looks appropriate, safe, and clean for kids. They have a nice basketball court and three volleyball fields to play on. The table area is covered so that helps to keep the sun and rain away if you're having a get-together or food. Nice view of the new Tappan Zee Bridge from the back of the park. This park has great potential once the upkeep is addressed. It's a scenic area with a tennis court and pavilion. However, the playground needs flooring repairs, and some metal parts show wear and tear, so you have to be cautious of the damaged areas. There's limited shade in the playground, though seating is available.

I love Barnhart Park in Sleepy Hollow. There are always kids and other people in the park whenever you go. There are 2 play areas and they are very big. Even they have a separate play area with water sprays. Plus there is a basketball court, volleyball court and place to play soccer. In addition there is a lot of space behind the park to play Frisbee and other stuff or run around with a dog. It is walking distance from the pizza store and other market. Free street...
