Reimagine Records — Attraction in Town of New Hartford

Stopped in for the first time today as I am returning to a hobby I enjoyed as a kid growing up in the 70s. I had a list of some artists/albums I was very interested in, and some I figured would be really obscure and a challenge to find. With an extensive selection, I was elated that they had several of the ones that I was looking for! I was very impressed with the organization and the cleanliness of the space, and knew immediately this would be a shop I will return to often...as a matter of fact after purchasing several albums, I came back an hour later to get another!

The owners did not disappoint, as the other reviewers are 100% right - they are welcoming, kind, knowledgeable and even more importantly, music/vinyl enthusiasts as well. Like I mentioned, I purchased several albums, and played them when I got home. These records are clean and played extremely well. It's obvious the owners care not only about selection, but also the quality they offer to their customers.

Reimagine Records is hands down my favorite record store ever and not just for the vinyl selections! Michelle and Scott have a very obvious passion for music, vinyl, the eclectic and their customers. If they don’t have a record in store you were looking for, they will find it for you! Their prices are always more than reasonable! Always a friendly and happy atmosphere, you can’t help but stay longer than planned simply for the great conversations with the owners and other customers alike. So glad they are right in...

This store is fantastic! No matter how often you shop here Michelle makes it clear she cares how each customer is doing and will go out of her way to have a conversation. Scott however finds solace in VPI cleaning every used record they receive and I genuinely respect that not that he doesn’t converse with customers it’s just hard to do so with the sound of the vacuum of the cleaner.
