Axe Kicking Entertainment Axe throwing Archery Fowling — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

Ok so my review is broken into a couple of parts. The first one is my experience, second is my wish list of things I hope they get and lastly it's just a couple of suggestions for people visiting for their first time.

The staff is really nice and helpful. I did archery, axe throwing and the plate smash.....by far my favorite was the axe throwing. They are open later than google said so remember to go to their website and see the available times.

I wish there was real alcohol there or a BYOB policy but there isn't but it really doesn't take away from the experience. It's a ton of fun and I highly recommend it.

For people driving: park on jerrico turnpike. For first time female archers: might want to try to minimize there boobage, definitely not a pushup bra type...

Plate throwing is Not worth it. You get to throw softballs for 15 min, but only get 10 plates to break so if you finish before 15 min it's all over. So it's like $10 plus tax for 7 min or so. Parking is very difficult. There are meters they want you to use but you have to cross Jericho Turnpike to get from your car to their building and that street is Very Busy! Its a very wide street with several lanes of traffic. The only thing that sounds good and unique over there is the "Game Show" for $20 per person where you do one physical challenge, and two other things. I'm not sure. I may try that in the future, but will think twice about it due to the location and parking situation. It's built in a residential area and they Don't have their own...

The place was empty we were excited to have a good time alone and jack the, only employee after explaining the instructing to us, instead of us watching from a distance sat and threw his own axe in the same area after explaining one person at a time. Then proceeded to inappropriate throw his axe underhanded which we were explained the dangers of doing all while another person was inside the “safety” area.
