All Shore Appliance — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

Before I start off, I want to say that it pains me to write this, because I was very happy with this business previously, as we bought a few other items there. I am not one to bash local businesses, in fact I typically like to support the local businesses in town as much as possible. However, yesterday I had the most shocking, upsetting and horrible experience at All Shore Appliance store. We ordered an oven, had it delivered and it clearly had issues from the start. I went into the store very calmly to try and talk to them about replacing it with a different oven. Larry berated me for sending back our oven, and tried to place the blame on me, and accused me of just “trying out” the oven when that clearly wasn’t what was happening, we just wanted a functioning oven. Larry went on screaming at me and treating me as though I had done something horrible. I got very upset, and he berated me for “getting emotional”. I felt as though I was being verbally attacked by him. I looked around and the other employees were just completely ignoring what was happening even though he was clearly in the wrong. He yelled at me to get out of his store and never come back again. My husband had to go back to get a refund for our oven and the other owner, Anthony acted as though he had no clue what had happened even though he was standing there too as this was unfolding. Don't step into this store. Larry, one of the owners is a horrifying person. When we first went to the store he was nice and said anything he needed to say to make business. He gave us some rebates and we purchased appliances for over $ 7,000 from him. His service after the purchase was terrible. When we went in for another purchase and asked him for a reduced price because we had found the product online for a lower price, he started out of nowhere yelling at me ( a woman! ) telling me I should go buy it online and get out of the store, he came very close to me and was pointing with his finger at me in the most horrific way possible while yelling at me. He called me and my husband "bastards", "penny pinching bastards" several times. He kept coming very close, yelling louder and louder. I was terrified, I called my husband immediately so he could hear all of that yelling and swearing and then walked out. I was extremely upset about how he treated me, I was shaking and scared. I've used them before and had no problem. This time for an install on through-the-wall AC. First I gave measuments to Anthony, who never got back to me. 3 days later, Wednesday, I stopped in the store and Larry set me up for an install on Friday. He had me pay in full because install was in 2 days, OK. Here we are a week later and it's not installed. I've had to call every day to get install scheduled. I understand rain delays; I understand the unit was damaged upon unboxing and they had to replace and reschedule- except they didn't bother to call me because "it's their busy season". Today, 10-days after paying in full I walked in the store and was about to tell him I'm willing to have it installed on Saturday even though it's Shabbat.
