Smusht — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Wish the staff that worked there had a little better clue how to help customers when they walk in there. Just went there, stood in line, only to be ignored and then overtly overlooked by the person on the other side of the counter (blond haired server). Way to treat your customers, needless to say I will NOT be going back there as there are many other ice cream shops in Port that are much better. Also I work right up the block and typically have co-workers that I will get ice cream for and now you've lost what would've been a great customer. Ice Cream is good, but not worth being ignored.

**Follow up to above incident, owner was very nice in following up abt the issue, offered tokens for free ice cream to make things right, but the intent of the above was not to get any free ice cream. Again ice cream is very good there as are...

We’re really lucky to have Smusht not only because of their unique and delicious ice cream flavors but it's extra special for us because my daughter is severely allergic to peanuts and treenuts. They are very allergy friendly with a nut free, gluten free and vegan ice cream cabinet with about 6 flavors in it. We typically don’t do shared lines or facilities but we spoke to the owner and he said that after doing flavors with nuts in it he takes apart all the pieces of the machines and cleans everything. They also have a container of safety scoops and are always willing to open up a new container from the back. We feel really safe letting our daughter eat ice cream from there and it's a wonderful space to hang out while eating your...

The ice cream was super yummy I had the Cookie Monster and chocolate oreo one and the Cookie Monster was really good just like in the Cookie Monster show. The service was impecable as they asked me if I wanted to try a sample before I even asked them so that was pretty crazy and nice. The atmosphere was super friendly and they had nice chairs where you sit, which were solidly comfortable. At the end I was like dude I need to leave a review on how lit and cool and fire and bomb this place is. Then he pulled out this super machine that lets you tap your phone to write a review and that’s the review in writing now. I would 100% recommend this ice...
