Flora’s Wine Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

I absolutely love this restaurant. I’ve been four times now. Last night was a tad disappointing. The food was delicious as always. Service was wonderful but the drinks were not up to the usual standard. I don’t know if they had no bartender or what happened. I ordered the jalapeno margarita. No rim on the glass and no spice… no fruit. The Smokey ….. no rim on glass, no fruit and lacked flavor. Disappointing. I will of course be back but please Flora teach the staff to make the drinks the same. The cocktails are a real treat as is the food. I highly recommend this...

A beautiful, intimate restaurant with outstanding food and impeccable service. Klement and staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. He even held a cake for me in the kitchen, even though we were so full and ended up just taking it home. We tried many items on the menu…the arancini, eggplant, crostini, pizza, pasta and a couple of chicken entrees. All delicious. The bartender was wonderful. He made a special drink for us. The drinks flowed throughout our meal. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a fabulous meal. I look forward...

Walked in on a Friday night at 8PM and was able to be seated within in 5 minutes in a crowded restaurant

Ordered the veal meatballs (out of this world and I’m still thinking about them), fried artichoke, the eggplant, octopus and cacio e peppe and it was fantastic with a nice red wine. We were checked up on multiple times which was a delight Only complaint is the space is very small and tight, the bar is all the way in the back and a little crowded- other than that the service is fantastic and the food was out of this world- will definitely be a...
