Beautiful nature preserve on the water in Manorville. The village, in cooperation with several local ecological groups has recently given the preserve a face lift by removing invasive plants (especially English Ivy) and planting hundreds of native plants including a Mother Orchid of native American Chestnut. Gorgeous!

Former Mayor Gary Pagano spearheaded the development of this park back in the mid 90’s and should be recognized for his efforts. I was employed by the Village back then, and it is a fact. We were constantly removing illegal aliens from the wooded area along the north side waterfront. It is nice to know that the park was...
