From the minute you walk in you are transported to the Mediterranean delightful feel with a bright, cheery, natural feeling because of the natural wood, succulent plants, round welcoming shape, and excellent choice in decor and colors. The ceiling has sound absorbing boards so you can have a conversation with your fellow dinners at a comfortable level. Great for a business meeting, family and friends gathering. They don’t crowd in the tables so there’s ample space to spread out. The music being played has great healing frequencies. The staff is present, attentive, and personable with authentic smiles and service. They don’t rush you. And help make recommendations if you can’t decide. The food choices have something for everyone. They are quality ingredients with increased bio available nutrient value because of the sourcing. And it’s all quite fresh and delicious. For my zero waste friends and followers they have real plates, cups, and silverware. And for my water, hydration folks lemon water is readily available on self serve in a large glass container with a metal top. And for my fellow germaphobes this place, including the bathroom, is spotless. Now to my dessert and beverage. A perfect balance of flavors and taste especially with the baklava and the Turkish coffee which can be decaf and with alternative milks. Haven’t had anything like this since my friend Asli made it for me from scratch from Turkey. A touch of cinnamon. Simply perfect. Delicious kindness...
Read moreI took my mother here for breakfast. We sat down not knowing we had to order at the counter so we waited about five minutes. I noticed one of the servers giving us a dirty look and my mother asked her if we order at the counter and she nodded with a disgusted look and turned and walked away. We ordered at the counter and the food was decent as was the aesthetic of the place. When the server returned with the food I said thank you and she walked away without saying anything like I was bothering her. I was excited to try this place because it looked pristine in the pictures but I’m disappointed. The rest of the staff weren’t much friendlier and looked like none of them wanted to be there. It’s a shame that they unfortunately had very bad attitudes with no hospitality and were not welcoming in the slightest. I don’t know if it was an off day for them based on other reviews but my experience was...
Read moreStopped in for the first time today. Had a coffee with oat milk and a blueberry lemon cake. Coffee was very good. The blueberry lemon cake wasn't, kinda dry which ruined it. I will definitely come back for coffee and try a different pastry/food item and update this review. Love the vibe and light inside!
Update: I went back about a week later and who I assume is the owner told me she read my review and apologized that when I bought the blueberry lemon cake that I wasn't told it was a gluten free item. She was very nice when she told me this. I got another coffee today and it was still good. I noticed they are brewing Mongos coffee(from syosset) which is great to see them using a LI roaster. Also went with the blueberry muffin which was a much...
