Bosphorus Cafe Grill — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Women beware if ordering takeout from here. The owner is a perverp who harasses customers and takes their names and phone numbers off of orders. We are from Connecticut and I was doing a job in the area yesterday and brought my girlfriend with me. She found this past a online and ordered some food to go for us. As soon as she walked in the door to pick it up the owner was saying how she so beautiful and he wants to marry her and she can have anything she wants for free in the restaurant. She respectfully said that she has a boyfriend and she doesn't want anything for free and just wants to pay for it and leave. He continued to tell her he wanted to marry her and when she gave her credit card to pay he now said I have your name and your phone number and I will be contacting you. She said please do not contact me I have a boyfriend I just want my food and that's it. First thing this morning when we woke up their was a friend request from the owner on Facebook and she had to block him and potentially contact the police if it continues. All of this for mediocre sandwiches that taste just like every other Turkish restaurant out there. I am a business owner myself and this is the most unprofessional place we have ever ordered takeout from. Stay away unless you want to be harassed by a Turkish pervert. The food is definitely not...

Food was good it was decent. No complaints really for the food taste. However, I never been to a restaurant with worse service. It took 15 mins for a waiter to approach us he took our drinks appetizer and meal orders and I never seen him again. After we got another waiter while the first guy was just hanging out by the bar talking with other employees. 2 of our main courses never came out I thought ok let me not say anything maybe their taking a little longer. Nope 20 mins later turns out they never put our orders in. We didn't get an apology or nothing the guy offered tea to us which we didn't accept because we were starving at this point. We were already there for 1 hour 45 mins at this point. The owner I assume told us I will give you some desserts to go which of course that never happend. We have been to this restaurant twice now. They have a very nice, unique, tasteful set up outside that is designed for social distancing. They have plastic bubbles that are heated and can accommodate up to 6 people. The food is Turkish cuisine. Some of the food is very good. We have tried a few things that we were not crazy about. I would certainly have given them four stars, but the service is not good. The first time we went there, our waiter disappeared for like 20 minutes, and then somebody else took over for him after we asked where he was. We later saw him come back from a delivery or something. During tonight's visit, at least three different waiters seemed to be taking turns coming to our table but none of them brought us what we asked for, like water, butter or tzatziki sauce.
