Monika Coiffure Spa Studio — Attraction in Town of North Hempstead

For years, I have been searching for a unicorn hairstylist. Someone who could cut short hair with precision and could get me to a perfect shade of platinum. I even sought out those who claimed to be specialists in short hair or blondes, but nobody ever got it right, until I walked in to Monika’s salon little over a year ago. I didn’t have high expectations, but figured, why not give this brand new beautiful salon in town a chance.

I explained to Monika exactly what I wanted, and without any hesitation, she confidently told me she can do it. I have heard that one before, so like I said, I didn’t have much faith that I would get what I desired, so I just smiled and let her get to work.

An hour or so later, I looked in the mirror and I think I saw rainbows and glitter swirling around my head. It happened!!!! I found my unicorn!! Not only was my cut exquisite, but the color was insane. The shine, the depth, the perfect platinum that I had always wanted was staring me right in the face. I even think I heard angels singing in the background.

I walked out the door that day, a new woman. I exude confidence, walk with my head high. I have never ever felt so spectacular. When I say that there is not a day that goes by that someone doesn’t stop me to compliment my hair, I would be lying. No matter where I go, someone is talking about my hair. It’s THAT...

On 2/13/2023, I had an amazing experience with Lizabeta getting a blowout and makeup done for my bridal shower. It started with being greeted by Monika, who was super friendly. Then Lizabeta took me in for the shampoo, blow dry, then straight to makeup. She matched my color perfectly and did a great job. I don't wear makeup very often, so I had nothing to offer her in terms of ideas. She just did whatever she felt would look good, and it was perfect! The only issue I had was my false eyelashes did not stay on. The hair turned out so beautiful and lasted for 3 days!

On 04/15/2023, I came in to fix a REALLY bad haircut I received elsewhere. Monika was again super friendly and accommodating. I showed her 4 ideas I had because I knew we needed to cut off a lot of the hair and she picked the one that best suited my face and style. While cutting, she mentioned balayage which I've always wanted to do. She said let's do it! She had enough time available in her schedule and after the cut (which was soooo perfect), she began on the color. I let her pick the glaze and it was beautiful for the coming summer.

She was so thorough, patient, and truly passionate about making sure my hair came out exactly how I wanted it—and it did! I left feeling so confident and pampered.

The staff was equally wonderful—checking in on me, offering refreshments, and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel luxurious, personal and welcoming.
