Hannaford — Attraction in Town of Oneonta

Update: months have passed and now they are never out of scallions but it's weird bc that store was always high quality and decent prices but their produce isn't great anymore and their meet has gotten low quality with super high prices I use to never get meat at Walmart but now they got better and Hannaford got worse since covid idk maybe they changed meat processors. But so many people when I'm at Hannaford say they wish it was as good as it use to be. The veteran staff if always awesome but newer people two years or less have no manors and not good customer service. No hi how are you nothing. It's like your not there even at the registers. I went food shopping with my husband and all I wanted was to find someone to help me see if they had scallions. A manager said he don't know and didn't look another guy with the manager said no one is there today and don't work in there. Than I asked a front end manager to help and said well I don't know not my area and I was like can't you go in the back and look since it's dead up here and she said I can check buy if I don't see it up in the front of the cooler I'm not looking for it. So yeah no scallions. I worked over 25 years in retail and that customer service was disappointing.when I worked in retail we worked as a team and did whatever we can to help q customer. Use to be my favorite food store. Deli has one lady very rude and mean. Cashier's don't ever greet or anything. I feel like customer service has gone down. Everyone is miserable. They do however have amazing produce I'll only get here and deli meat lasts longer than...

I have only recently started shopping at this store in the last few months and the one end of the freezer section with ice creams has had this chronic ice build up for some time now and it doesn't look like anyone is tending to it. I've also noticed some of the small containers of ice cream are bashed and those same containers have been there for a while now as I check each time I visit the store and this little issue really speaks volumes to me about the level of care and concern toward the customers. There seems to be a lack of effort in this particular location and in my opinion every supermarket/grocers first and utmost important priority should be that of supplying your customers with the freshest product available. We rely on you to provide us food we can consume safely and without question. Hopefully posting this here will help to remedy the issue. I really like this store I live 20 miles from the store the prices are better than the Price Chopper here in Sidney I do most of my Shopping here the people are great and most of the time I can get what I need and they have items that they don't have at Price Chopper in Sidney The pharmacy is very efficient always have my prescriptions ready when I arrive The Great American in Sidney closed 2 years ago and always shopped there it was convenient just down the street and they had a lot of items I used to get here and they had a great deli department they had Sidney's Hometown salads there now the only place that has it is Scoops Ice Cream and Subs during the...
