SEPHORA — Attraction in Town of Oyster Bay

I usually don't write reviews but after reading the negative reviews regarding the store manager I felt compelled to write one of my own. I don't know what the other people are talking about regarding the Store Manager. I was at the store today with my daughter. The staff is amazing and so accommodating and super friendly including the Store Manager!! The Store Manager was so friendly and helpful to us when asking for help with a few products. She offered us many options to my questions. You can tell she really loves her job and is not only knowledgeable but passionate about making sure that the customer is satisfied. Having a great store like Sephora to our town is a huge plus and having a Store Manager to go the extra mile for her customers is a huge bonus. It’s disappointing to see such poor management at a store like Sephora. The store manager is not only unprofessional but shockingly rude. Instead of providing good customer service, she seems to go out of her way to be dismissive and unhelpful. A person in a leadership role should know how to treat customers with basic courtesy, yet this manager lacks even the most fundamental people skills. I came in here for the first time to return a lipstick and liners that didn't cut it. Samantha conducted the return and was very pleasant. It is nice to come into Sephora again and be treated with respect. I spend a lot of money in this store and don't need to deal with snotty little girls like at Ulta. I am looking forward to coming here again. The store is very nicely organized, appears to be fully stocked, and the staff are professional without hovering over you.
