The food is okay. The prices make it not okay. And their sandwiches are smaller than you'd think, about the size of a wrapped regular McDonalds cheeseburger.
Their double cheeseburger was okay, their cheese is good.
The No Good Pops Smash was a 4/10, there was more brown onions than meat and cheese in the burger and it made the buns SO soggy and the burger was all but falling apart.
The No Good Grilled Cheeseburger was about the same, the "grilled cheese" bread they use was also just way too soft, I grabbed it and its like the sandwich halved in size. Not that it looked great initially either, the bread in the wrapping made the sandwich look like a black burnt cube.
The gentleman in the truck that handed me my order was kind, wished me a great day.
3 stars doesn't feel right, Id really give this place a 5/10. Some things like their fries and regular double cheeseburger are okay or even a 6/10 or something, but their signature No Good Pops Smash and their No Good Grilled Cheeseburger was a little bit disappointing. This isn't a bad food truck/restaurant, but the prices are high too. I'm glad I tried this place and its cool that its a food truck, but I wont get food from here again...
Read moreI’m a sucker for a food truck so when I was driving by and saw the No Good Burger truck I bust a quick u-turn and had to see what it was all about. Ordered a double No Good Pops smash which was double patty with American cheese, their pops grilled onions, bacon and their smash sauce on a grilled martins potato roll. All I can say is WOW. Total flavor bomb. Easily the best smash burger I’ve ever had.
While burgers are obviously their specialty I saw wings on the menu and after tasting the quality of the burger I had to order some wings. Tossed in the buffaque sauce the wings were crispy but still tender. Had to order a churro for good measure. The 2 guys working the truck, Lucas and Sam told me about their physical location in Baldwin which I’ll now have to make a trip too. They also mentioned they do a lot of private parties and catering and I can see why. If you love food trucks or just a damn good burger the No good burger truck is highly...
Read moreSave yourself $2 over the Pop's Smash by getting the single smash for $10 and add bacon for $2 extra. It's the same burger that they charge $14 for! These burgers do have a great flavor but I can't justify spending $14 for a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. These are def smashed but no way they are near a qtr lb (they don't claim to be). All American is $2.25 for a cheeseburger. Understandably you can't get grilled onions and bacon, but you get an excellent burger for a way better price. I can get a cheeseburger, large fries, large onion rings, large drink and an ice cream shake all for $13.50 at All American. Or I can get 1 single bacon cheeseburger with onions on a regular sized potato roll for .50 more at No Good. I'd have to be high to eat there again..and if I was high, I'd probably just go to the Rolling Joint food...
